Disclaimer - Aurora in Latin means dawn

Dawn broke over shimmered waters
Shades of gold venturing out into the sky
"Aurora", you say
"Look at how she rises"

Dusk falls over dark seas
Darkness coming out to play
"Where is your Aurora now", I ask
"Sleeping in the shrouds of nightfall"

Every morning you wake up to see her
Every night you watch as she disappears
"Without dawn how would we know a new day?", you ask
"Without dusk how would we know darkness?"

One morning you don't wake to see your Aurora
One night I bury you as dusk falls
Your eyes closed , your smile bright
My Aurora , gone to sleep with the stars

I wake up the next morning to no brightness
Aurora rises , but her tears fall for you
Heavy raindrops that splatter into the sea
Dusk descends angrily , the crepuscular sky dim

My aureate light
My golden sun
Aurora rises everyday , my sweet
And with her , I watch as you rise too
