Dear Mum,

I'm so glad we're staying with you until we leave for school. I've had my trunk packed since June. Staying with you will definitely make up for you not being at my birthdayparty. I know you were busy with the store in all, but I still missed you. I can't wait to come over. I have so many things to show you.

Like how tall I've gotten. I might be as tall as Dad when I'm older. Oh or my new hair color. I've spent almost all summer practicing. I can even keep it the same color while I sleep(or so Jesse says). I know metamorphmagi, shouldn't be able to turn into animals. But if I'm able to give myself cat ears, I think it's plausible I can turn into one. So I'm going to practice very hard. I'll send you a letter if I get any progress.

Jesse has been a bit nicer tome this summer. He let me play quidditch with him and his friends. He even let me be on his team. It was so much fun, well until Dad came outside and yelled at us.

Jessica hasn't been around too much. Jesse thinks it's cause she has a boyfriend. It would explain why she has to be the first one to get to Laila. Mara says she think it might be that fourth year Cedric Diggory, Jesse says it's Oliver Wood, gryfinndors quidditch captain. I don't know either of those boys. I'm surprised anyone would want to date Jessica, ecspecially if they'd seen her in the morning. Laura says we need to leave Jessica  and her love life alone. that's too bad, it's fun making fun of Jessica.

Mara and I have been stuck at the house together. I wish she had something to go do, all she does is annoy me. I wish one of her gryffindor friends would come hang out with her. Does any one her year want to hang out with her. Seriously all Mara does is talk about her friends and boys.I'm glad we'll be at your house, so you can listen to her never ending blabber.

Speaking of blabber, Laura still hasn't given the baby a name. It's been a week since she was born, and i'm tired of calling her the baby. I wish she would just use the name I suggested. Merlin isn't a bad name for a baby girl. What do you think she should name her?

Oh and about your question, Patches is fine. She split a seam but I sewed it right up for her. She was very grateful. I kinda wish, I did a better stitch on her fabric before I had enchanted her. I remember when I first enchanted her. Her fabric was nice, bright,purple. I liked the way I used different shades of purple.

Anyway I can't wait to stay with you, hopefully we'll get to stay for christmas too. It would be so much fun if me, you, the twins, and Mara, were together for christmas. You always give the best presents. And I'd love to see you open your presents, especially the ones I give you.

Dear Cousin,

I'm very  excited we'll both be going to Hogwarts together.Although I doubt we'll both be in slytherin. At least Jesse will be there with you. I'll most likely be put in Hufflepuff, it's the only house none of my siblings are in. But the good side is, I heard the hufflepuff dorm are near the kitchen.

Oh and I hope you had a great party, I wish we had our parties together, like we did last year. You still would have had an excellent time, even if the Weasleys were there. I still don't get why your family doesn't like the Weasley's. They are wonderful people. Ecspecially Ron, he's coming to Hogwarts too you know. You two are like my best friends and I wished you'd get along better. You two both love quidditch, (which we played on my birthday.) it was a pretty close game. Although Jesse did get hit by a bludger.  I laughed so hard, I let the quaffle through the goal.

Anyway can't wait to see you at King's cross. See you soon.
