Chapter 1: The crown

Carly and her friend Miranda had found a crown in the abandoned castle."I can't believe that we found this crown" Miranda said as she showed it to Carly"dude put it back we shouldn't be here we could get in so much trouble"Carly said "relax we won't get in trouble besides it's not like something bad is going to happen" Miranda said while holding the crown  in her hands.after a while they started to head out of the abandoned castle when they suddenly see the crown glowing brightly. "Uhh why is the crown glowing"Carly asked  as she looked at the crown and she saw writing on it"hey look Carly their is writing on the crown"Miranda said as Carly read the writing.on the crown it said: if the crown selects what I desire I shall not sacrifice anymore villagers so long as you obey the decision.after finishing up ready Carly was about to say something when the crown suddenly the crown move on it's own until it landed on Carly's head."oh no "Both carly and Miranda say knowing that this wasn't going to end well.they try to take it off but the crown wouldn't budge one bit " why me of all people"Carly asked"I don't know but we better find a way to get it off before tomorrow's sacrifice day "Miranda said."well it would seem as though you have found the key to ending all the sacrifices"a familiar voice said.they both turned around to see the village prestes , hutolay standing in front of them "hutolay what are you doing here" Miranda asked "I came here to tell you that our sacrifice will be held tonight and that the vampire king will come for his sacrifice personally and seeing as Carly is what he wants she will be the sacrifice for our vampire king"he said as he looked at Carly "but we can't sacrifice her she is the only one who can heal people and knows where to get supplies for medicine " miranda said as she looked at Carly "we don't have a choice now I suggest you get prepared for tomorrow  understand Carly" he said "yes prestes " Carly said with sadness as  the prestes noded and left the two alone."I'm so sorry I got you into this mess" Miranda said with sadness"don't worry it's not your fault "Carly said as they headed home and got ready for tomorrow
