Till My Last Breath

The journey chapter 4

It was 6:30 am and the sun wasn't even up yet frost on the windows and dew drops on the grass. "Why so early?" Aero questioned. "Well do you want to get there by nightfall?" Katarina answered. "Well I guess so." Aero responded quickly. "Alright stop with the chit chat come on." Willow snapped. "Hey wheres Shade?" Willow added "Here I am." Shade replied.They began by crossing the river and there Aero fell in and some type of fish came and tried to eat his foot. "Help it's trying to eat me HELP!" He screamed like a girl. and on the ground was Willow laughing her pants off. "You sound like a girl!" She began to laugh some more."God!" Katarina sighed as she shot the fish off him. And they carried on with it till noon. "Man I'm so hungie." Shade said in a child's voice. "Well I guess I'll eat this piece of cheese yummy yummy." He began to stuff his face in the cheese. "Want some?" He asked with his mouth full of cheese. Everyone else replied with "Nah." Willow ate a PB and J sand witch. Katarina ate a small piece of bread and Aero well I'm not sure he left to find some berries.Once lunch was done they carried on with the journey and walked and ran some and Shade fell over a few time but no biggie. "Aer we there yet?" Willow complained. "We have been walking for ages." Shade added.Aero was silent for a few minutes then began to speak." Guys what happens if we do come back do we just keep on living our lives like we never met or...." He ended "Or there's a chance that we will never come back." His voice went silent. "I don't know what will happen in the out come of this but hat dosen't mean that we shouldn't give up all are hope." Katarina tried to sound convincing. "Yeah let's keep on going." Aero said with hesitation. They walked on for three hours while they were doing that Shade began to hum a song I think it's called Sexy ralonda style but who knows whats going on in his head.

"It's almost nightfall you said that we would be there by this time!" Willow panicked "Well since we had so many pit stops because of a certain someone we're not going to get there till tomorrow." Katarina looked at Shade. "Sorry it's not my fault that I have a small balder." Shade said with a voice crack. "Well who said this was going to be easy alright so everyone shut up you guys just keep on complaining and you'll be dead before we even get there." Aero warned them. Everything went silent till Shade said he had to go to the bathroom. Shade used the wrong leaf a graped a poison ivy leaf. "I'm so itchy."Shade said with a long sigh. As Shade itched himself everyone became more anointed with every second. Katarina twitched with anions while Aero was starring at Katarina. "Awkward." Willow thought to herself. The night felt like it would go on forever just till they stopped to set camp for the night. Willow, Katarina and Aero pulled out there small tens and Shade well...he pulled out a pair of underwear and put that on himself. Katarina was having a dream about life when she was 15 the year her parents died. Then she began to dream about  two months before they killed her mother and father "Hunnie come on suppers ready." She said with a smile. "Alright mother." Katarina replied from the sofa. They always had a big supper some nights they would have tacos and others rice,meat and veggies. She once had a starring contest with the wall of course she lost though but she still had fun no matter if the sun wasn't shining, but some of the most hippiest dreams can turn into the the worst. Katarina started to move around in her sleeping bag and one tear slid down her face as she remember when they killed her parents right in front of her the horror in her eyes and all the tears streamed down her face and all the nights that she was all alone.

Morning came "Come on guys we could make it there by noon if we hurry." Katarina called to them. "Alright almost done packing up." Willow called back to her. "Well I'm all done."Shade put the underwear in his bag. "Well you fell asleep with your underwear." Aero pointed out. "Shhh I hear something" Katarina whispered. A loud snap of a twig and a growl came from the bushes. "Shade I hope that was your stomach." Aero panicked. What pounced out of the bushes was a werewolf and landed on katarina. She manged to kick it off and they ran for there life's they couldn't risk hurting themselves. "Come on." Katarina panted. The wolf was right behind them racing them it could almost  nip Willows shoe lase. Willow tripped over a root of a great oak tree."Help me!" She screamed. Shade stopped and looked back and ran back for Willow. He picked her up and ran. Willow looked puzzled how Shade just turned back for her even though he was a little messed in the brain. I guess he was one of the bravest men that Willow ever saw. "Are you ok." He asked. But no answer she was lost in his dark green eyes with the sun shining though his brown hair. "Uhhh yeah." She began to blush. Katarina hulled herself and pulled out her gun and shot the beast. It fell to the ground with blood racing down it's fur. "Everybody ok?" She asked with a drop of sweat fell to the ground. Everybody else replied with a pant then a few second after they said yes. "That was a close one." Shade panted. "We must be getting close then, they wouldn't just attack like that not unless we must be close to the base." Katarina sat down on a rock.Aero came and sat beside her and put his arm around her to comfort her.
