"Do you have feelings for anyone?" Akaashi asked.

Yes. Yes you did. Your best friend, Bokuto, had taken your heart and you said that someone could only love once, you would want that one person to be Bokuto. He was so inspirational, fun, cute—you could write a whole book about him. He always believed he was the best and whenever he went emo mode when you guys were kids, all you had to do was make him feel better by complimenting him. You found that cute, he just wanted love. You would give him the whole world and you would wake up every morning and tell him that he is the best. Although you never tell him, you know he is.

"(y/n)?" Akaashi woke you up from your little trance. You saw him holding a can of soda, maybe he got that at the grocery store with his own money.

"Oh, sorry," You apologized. "I was just...thinking. Yes, maybe there is someone," You chuckled which caught Akaashi's attention.

"If you don't mind telling me-"

"Yeah, I'll tell you—don't make fun of me, okay?" Akaashi stopped walking and nodded firmly. You put a hand on his shoulder to help you go on your tippy toes so you could whisper in Akaashi's ear, even though there was no one around to listen.

"Koto-Chan." Akaashi gave out a shaking gasp.

"B-Bokuto-San?" He asked, furrowing his eyebrows.

"Yup," You said shyly. "Ever since I started middle school."

"Cool." Akaashi said as he continued walking.

"What about you, Aka-Chan?" Akaashi chocked on the soda he was drinking.

"I-uh, s-sorry," He stuttered. "I-I don't feel like that towards anyone," He said really uneasily.

"Okay," You said as you pulled out your phone.

I feel this lump in my throat, I don't know..
Hearing about (y/n)-Kun's feelings towards Bokuto-San doesn't make me jealous, but it just concerns me greatly. They've known each other for, what, ten years? That's a bond that I'd never break if I were them. I only met them yesterday. but they seem really close and if Bokuto were to not accept her feelings, no matter the fact that she's his best friend, that could affect their friendship drastically. (y/n)-Kun has a good heart, and although, like I said before, I haven't spent much time with her but I don't want her heart broken. And for Bokuto-San, on the other hand, if he doesn't return her feelings, it must be so hard to tell her. This isn't really any of my business but I don't want this to end up badly and I hope Bokuto likes her back. I don't think I should of asked, to be honest.

"Thank you, Aka-Chan! I'm so, so sorry for disturbing you at such an hour~" Akaashi nodded in response and you quickly ran inside the house with the groceries in your hands.

"Eni, never let me go out past 9 pm, I was freezing to death," You scolded your sister, she was still awake watching something on Netflix.

"Well, it's because Mom and Dad are coming 10 am sharp tomorrow, I just needed all this stuff," You were happy your parents were coming over. They barely did. They were too caught up with their jobs, they didn't have much free time. Nevertheless, they loved you both very much.

"Cool, but you could have just got them yourself!" You whines but your sister just closed her laptop and started putting the food in its respective places.

"Why didn't we start getting ready earlier this week?" You yawned as you were making your way to your room. Your sister shrugged.

"They told me last minute, I'll make it up to you~" She said, gratefully. You scoffed. "Yeah, goodnight." She hummed in return as you closed your door.
