knock knock

dongju was just scrolling through the list of things hwanwoong sent him to remember when he heard the knock. he headed over to the door of his apartment, just to open it and see geonhak standing right at his doorstep.

"hey dongju, i was wondering if you had breakfast yet. i know i gave you a day off today but-"

geonhak was silenced halfway with dongju's lips. dongju giggled and looked up at him, "yes i would love to have breakfast with you."

"wait really?"

"yes, silly! did you not say you were going to court me? now don't be so nervous."

dongju cheekily reminded geonhak, acting as if he did not just kiss him on the lips. geonhak broke into a wide grin and grabbed dongju's arm.

"you are going to love the place I'm going to bring you to! but don't worry, ill send you home after breakfast, you are still getting your day off."

both of them got into geonhak's car and started driving through the busy streets. in the car, there was a soft silence that enveloped both of them, as they enjoyed each other's company.

after a while,,,

"here we are!"

"i love this place! it makes waffles the way i like it!"

geonhak turned to dongju, "you have been here?"

"of course, me and woong hyung likes to come here to get waffles and pancakes. but that was way before he got pregnant, i hardly come here since its too far.."

dongju explained to geonhak, as they entered the cafe.

"just get me anything you think will suit me. surprise me hakkie!" dongju beamed at geonhak and proceeded to find a spot for the both of them to sit at. geonhak smiled at dongju's cuteness, finding himself liking the nickname he gave him. shaking his head at his own sudden shyness, he headed over to the counter to place his order.

"hi, what can i get you today?"

"uhm, i would like a caramel macchiato, a latte, and the heart waffle set with cinnamon and strawberry toppings, thank you."

"no problem sir, please take a seat, we will head over there with your order."

geonhak took the receipt and walked to the table that dongju picked for them. the table was in a booth, a the corner of the shop, with a little sense of privacy for them. "i didnt know what you would like, but i assumed you like sweet things so i got you a caramel macchiato"

"great, that is my favourite drink. this place makes it the best way possible!"

"do you want to play 20 questions? since we don't really know each other well yet..."

"sure! i want to go first~ what is your favourite colour?"

"monotone colours i guess? i don't really have a specific one. my turn, what is yours?"

"hmm something sparkly and soft, a bit like silver? okay, so when exactly did you become a CEO?"

"my parents have been training me since i was of legal age, and i was more or less always involved in the CEO tasks, so i guess when i was 18? what is you major?"

"i wanted to major in theatre studies, but i ended up taking a major course in communication arts and a minor in business. hmm, what is your favourite thing to do when you are bored?"

"probably just play around with the items on my table? or my pen in meetings. why did you end up applying for my company?"

"myeong, woong hyung and youngjo hyung kept bugging me and i also thought it would be a good opportunity to work at a prestigious company!"

dongju took this opportunity to tease geonhak, happy to see the blush creeping up on his face. shortly after, their food came. as they had their food, they also learned a lot more about the other person.

"thanks for the breakfast hakkie!"

"no problem baby."

they both froze.
