Y/N POV:

I'm up in my room crying and also in pain and trying to process what just happened. I know my dad wasn't being himself at the time but I was still very afraid of what he would do if I told anybody. I felt that he would would beat me to death or something. Although I did know that he did need serious help I wanted to move out as soon as possible even though i'm only 16 but ill be 17 in a couple days. there is no way I can stay with him for 2 more years because who knows what he has planned next. I instantly start packing my bags and think about spending a couple nights with mike although it could either make this situation worse or better. I wait until 2:00am and text mike.

*texting mike*

💛Y/N💛: Hey me and my dad got into a fight do u think i can crash at your house tonight?

💜mike💜: Yea of course just don't tell Derek pick you up in a little bit be ready.

I put my phone in my bag and grab the rest of my stuff and went down stairs. my dad was slumped so I wasn't worried about him catching me. I got outside and mike is leaning against his car. He grabs my bags and puts them in the back and we go to his house.

Mike: Are you okay mamas

Y/N: yea i'm okay

I start to feel hot tears form in my eyes so I look away from him and look out the window as we drive off to his house.

* at mike's house*

we go upstairs and just lay in his bed silently.

mike: can you tell me what's wrong?

Y/N: Yea give me a minute

Mike sat p and stared at me. I sighed and explained everything.

 Y/N: plz don't report him or anything he isn't doing so well rn my mom just died and he is just not acting right so plz mike promise me!

Mike: okay okay keep it down I won't but if he does it again ima beat his ass that's just wrong and it disgust me i'm sorry Y/N

Y/N: thx mike

I throw my arms around mike's neck and hug him, we hug for awhile but then he starts to kiss my lip and moves my hair away from my neck.

Y/N: oh ummm mike-

Mike: he left hickies too wow maybe you should stay for another night. are you going to tell derek?

Y/N: of course he's my bsf, and idk my dad would freak out if I where to basically be gone for a long time you know.

Mike: was that supposed to change my mind?

i stare at him but a smirk appears on his face so i just smile to.

Mike: see don't let it get to you cuz ima be here the whole time and i'm sure vallyk and derek will be to now get some sleep okay.

 i nod my head and he cuddles with me and we both fall asleep.

* next morning *

Derek's POV: 

I get up out of bed and get ready. after i'm finished and eat breakfast I drive over to Y/N's house. I get excited and knock on the door and wait for like 5 minutes. 

Derek: Jeez Y/N why did you ta-

Y/N's Dad:  She isn't going to school today so move on kid

Derek: okay bye sir

I get back in my car and feel a lil weird so I call her.

Derek: what's wrong your dad said you aren't going to school.

Y/N: oh uhh he is still kinda hurt about my mom being dead ill be there

Mike in the background: Where's my hoodie

Derek: was that mike

Y/N: uhh where

Derek: Y/N are you with mike

mike walks up to you and takes your phone

Mike: hi Derek wyd

Derek: more like what are you doing

Mike: oh nothin just getting ready for school

Derek: i meant with Y/N

Mike: oh nothin 

Y/N: listen ill explain later I swear

Derek: Yea ik you are

Derek hangs up and I look at mike. he just smiles and shrugs.

Mike: whoopsie but anyway can you help me find my hoodie plzzzzzz

Y/N: yea okay

we look for mike's hoodie and find it under his bed and head off to school.

*at school*

Vallyk: hi Y/N I want you to meet somebody 

I kinda tall lightskin with dreads comes up behind Vallyk and holds his hand out. I dub him up and I think he wanted me to shake his hand but oh well

Mike: dang Hi kobe haven't seen you in awhile

Vallyk: well kobe this is Y/N and Y/N this is kobe.

he says hi and everything and just starts a conversation but im looking for derek. seconds later derek pops out and starts running to me. he then swerves me and jumps on kobe and tried to kiss him. we all start laughing and then he comes up to me and kisses me all over my face and takes me by my hand.

Kobe: wow so the lil baddie is yours I thought she was mike's girl

Derek: hold on why would you think that

Kobe: they walked in together so I was like wow she pretty but she got a man

Derek: No she is not my girl and no she is not mike's girl either she is single but OFF LIMITS

Y/N: umm chile anyway so I gotta tell you guys something during 4th period so yea

Mike: very important bad news
