She never admitted to herself that she liked him until it was too late. She avoided her feelings, and had tried to escape them. And now he was gone.
Touka had always been wary of trusting people. "If you grow too attached to someone, they'll leave". It had always been a rule of hers. Starting with her dad, and then Ayato, and then Kaneki. She had never imagined that a weakling would ever mean so much to her. That one half-ghoul, who changed her view of the world, and most importantly, herself.
"Why am I so weak?" It's the first thought that comes into her head when she finally accepts the fact that they had taken him. "What do I do?"
She has no idea when she will be able to see him again. But she has hope, that he will come back, and be that one person in her life that doesn't leave her.
