4) TsukkiYama {Fluff}

AN: TsukkiYama makes me really happy but I can't help but to write fluff for them so 👉👈 enjoy^^ oh and it's my birthday and I like Yams with braces okay now enjoy^^ 🥺

Tsukishima and Yamaguchi had, what they thought to be, the simplest friendship. Tsukishima was the best at hiding his emotions, no one was able to tell anything by just looking at him. Well, almost no one.

Yamaguchi was far different from everyone else. As much Tsukishima may have came off as cold and rude, Yamaguchi was always the one to notice if Tsukishima was having a bad day. Tsukishima was also good at being able to figure out how Yamaguchi felt but Yamaguchi was one to show his emotions anyways.

It was the middle of their first year and Yamaguchi seemed a lot more quiet today. The blonde found this suspicious but he didn't want anyone to know that he actually cared about someone. All day his honey brown eyes were fixated on his freckled friend. Yamaguchi seemed more tensed to him but it wasn't a bad vibe he got from him

Eventually lunch came around and everyone had went outside to since the weather seemed to have been nice that day. Yamaguchi was about to head out to eat lunch when Tsukishima quickly grabbed him by the wrist

"Yamaguchi.." He said in low blunt voice

Yamaguchi flinched before turning to look at the blonde with a smile. Tsukishima saw one thing wrong with this smile, Yamaguchi wasn't showing his teeth and his eyes held slight worry.

The blonde glanced around the room before speaking up with slight concern in his voice "Tadashi what's wrong?"

Yamaguchi only smiled as he turned away to head towards the door " Ith nothing Thuskki!" and with that he headed out without Tsukishima

Tsukishima found this odly unusual for Yamaguchi but he said nothing of it. He grabbed his lunch as he sat in the back of the now empty classroom to eat on his own. His brown eyes glanced out the window to see Yamaguchi had went outside to eat on his own but it wasn't his usually meal. Yamaguchi seemed to have been eating some sort of Jello but of course Tsukishima said nothing of it since he couldn't.

The day dragged on and the two bestfriends hardly even spoke a word. People all around them found it to be a bit odd themselves. It was not the end of the day and it was time for practice. The two walked to the club room in silence only to see most of the team standing out side looking at them

"Do you idiots know the gym is over there or did you somehow all forget?" Tsukishima said rolling his eyes as he tried to squeeze through everyone

Sugawara quickly pushed him back towards Yamaguchi, who quickly held his arms out to grab Tsukishima

"You two aren't allowed to practice today" Sugawara said with a stern look

"The hell-? Why not?" Tsukishima said with a hint of annoyance

"Because Hinata and Kageyama told me you two have been acting strange. Even Yachi is getting worked up about it. Whatever is happening between you two, I want it fixed beforey you ruined the atmosphere for practice and games. You two go home"

The two looked at eachother confused but Tsukishima just rolled his eyes and began to walk off. Yamaguchi gave a small whine as he waved goodbye before quickly catching up with Tsukishima.

The two walked in awkward silence as they approached home. The silence was quickly broken once Tsukishima had stopped right in front of Yamaguchi. Yams looked at his slightly taller best friend before getting his wrist grabbed and a not so happy Tsukishima

"Speak to me dammit, not hearing your voice is painful" Tsukishima said as he removed his headphones

Yamaguchi once again didn't say anything but glance at the headphones

"What? I wear them so others don't bug me, there's nothing on" he said as he placed the headphones on Yams

The freckled boy's eyes sparkled as he looked up at the blonde. The blonde looked away with a light blush as he crossed his arms

"I like listening to you ramble..." He muttered as he covered the blush with his hand "So why won't you speak?"

A calm silence washed over them as Tsukishima waited for an answer. Yamaguchi rubbed the back of his neck as he glanced at the ground. He took a moment to think about the right words to say before actually speaking

"I haven'th said anthing because in embarrassed.."

The blonde looked at Yamaguchi with a confused look till it actually hit him. Yamaguchi had a small lisp as he spoke. Without warning, Tsukishima placed his index finger and thumb on Yamaguchi chin to gently make him look up. A blush appeared on both their faces as Yamaguchi had a small awkward smile

"You got braces?"

Yams softly nodded before Tsukishima let go of his face. The two stayed like that for a brief moment just staring into each other's eyes. They were getting lost in them before Tsukishima quickly looked away and began to walk off

"You like nice with them.." He mumbled as he blushed more

Yamaguchi stood there dumbfounded and blushing before quickly catching up with Tsukishima. The two eventually held hands together and decided on staying over at Yamaguchi's house to watch movies together. They didn't know where they were going with their relationship with eachother yet but whether they like thought of it or not they knew they had feelings for one another. Feeling that blossomed simply from being bestfriends as little kids
