Jyn had been scanning through all her scrolls and papers all over her cottage for information about her birth but didn't find anything. Leckeo had been buried under a pile of scrolls and stayed utterly still, thinking that if he had moved, he would cause a scrollalanche.

After cleaning everything up, Jyn kneeled down to stroke a still stone- cold Leckeo. She looked around and thought for a while. After thinking of what seemed to be like the rest of the day, Jyn gasped as something popped up into her mind, but it wasn't going to be easy...

Standing right at the entrance of the door, Jyn gulped. She knew it would wake Ben up just barging into his house like that, so she walked around the house, trying to find a way in, then finally, she found a vent at the back of the house. Opening it, she crawled into the vent and ended up right beside the fireplace. She had made it inside.

' Check... ' Jyn sighed as she struggled out of the vent as it wasn't for her size. After finally squeezing out, she stood up, looking around.

It must be in Ben's drawer, but it's locked, Jyn thought and it didn't make the moment any better, oh gosh...

Trying to stand the immensely loud snoring noises from Ben's father's room, Jyn tiptoed up the stairs to Ben's room. She was slightly thankful Ben's snoring wasn't as loud as his father's, and took the key that lay on the bedside table.

Just at that moment, Jyn accidentally knocked down a luckily unbreakable wooden sculpture, however making a loud thud on the ground, causing Ben to wake up.

' Huh? W- wha— ' Ben sat up and looked around. Nothing. He shrugged and fell back down, falling asleep again. Once she heard the snoring again, Jyn emerged slowly from behind the bed and heaved a huge sigh of relief, tiptoeing back to he bedside table. She unlocked the drawer, opened it and inside, was just the thing she needed.

Stepping backwards slowly, Jyn made sure Ben wasn't awake, when she, again, clumsily stepped on the tail of Ben's pet black and white cat, Joris.

' Oh great now there's a second cat?! ' Jyn muttered briskly as she quickly rushed out, she sweared a few words and squeezed with great effort back down into the vent back outside. Ben sat straight up.

' Oh what is it this time?! ' he looked at Joris yowling and spitting into thin air.

Jyn ran back to her cottage and shut the door the moment she stepped in. She sat on her bed.

' Look, Leck! I've got my birth scroll! ' Jyn waved the scroll at Leckeo who swayed his tail left and right as he leaped onto Jyn's bed beside her.

' 'Kay... let's see what it says... ' Jyn slowly and cautiously unrolled the scroll and read it aloud:

Name: Jyn Emilie Lesley

Place of birth: Dormont Village

Parents: Emilie Diana Lesley, Lucas Peter Lesley

Siblings: None

To be kept in highly- secured place.

Jyn paused.

' My Mum and Dad! Their names are Emilie and Lucas Lesley! Well now we know that... wait... Dormont Village...? No wonder the village is always against me! Elliot Village has always been against Dormont Village, ' Jyn said, her curiosity growing... Jyn looked down back at the scroll, but that was it.

' That was a waste of time, breaking into someone's house, stepping on a cat's tail and stealing something I'm not supposed to be having with me right now... ' Jyn sighed. ' Oh well, maybe there's many more things Ben hasn't told me about my birth yet. Hope he'll at least tell me something useful, then otherwise I'll just feel... '

Jyn looked down, Leckeo looked up and whined softly.

' ... like I'm nothing. '

Jyn sighed. Leckeo cuddled up besides Jyn, trying to comfort her. Jyn understood and appreciated the fox's care for her, but she just couldn't figure who she really was.
