"Why you keep letting him do you like that baby," my mama questioned me, referring to Jacquavius.

I sighed, "mama .. I just really love him and I thought this time things would be different," I shrugged as I helped her wash the chicken.

"IS THE BABY EVEN HIS?" My sister yelled, making me suck my teeth.

She knew for a fact it was his, simply mad because when she tried to fuck, he dubbed her. That jealously shit don't look cute on her.

"Danielle please suck a dick and die," I replied back rinsing off the chicken and making my way to a cutting board so I cut these into strips.

"Watch your mouth Dy, I told you to stop letting her get to you. She 25 still living in my house, she already got her priorities fucked up." My mama explained as she started on some rice.

"Good, you was supposed to," my mama snapped back ignoring Danielle's screaming and yelling.

Honestly I was hurt by the whole Zariah situation— Jacquavius and I been on and off for years and to find out he was messing with her hurt real bad. What made the situation worse was he allowed him into his home at 6 in the morning — like I wasn't sleep in the room. I just found it so disrespectful.

I sighed deeply, as I took a swig on my water. Then shortly after, my phone rang.

Looking down at the caller ID, I noticed it was Jacquavius. This was the 12th time he called today, might as well face him now.

"Mama, I'm gonna take this call."

She waved me off and I pressed accept and walked down to my old room, closing the door behind me.

"Hello," I answered.

"Diamond.. baby, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have chose her over you and the baby or even let her in the house. I know it was disrespectful.. I just felt bad for her." He explained.
