Trapped in a Nightmare-living a fairytale

chapter 2 "sneak out-make out~"

It was getting late, close to midnight even. My dad had to go to a meeting, mom was too drunk to stand up. I was laying in bed just listening to some lofi beats, those always calmed me down. my phone started buzzing, a message from...JACK!? I blinked a few times to make sure I wasn't dreaming, O-M-G!!  Jack lowell, my CRUSH, texted me! he's isn't popular, a total loner actually. But I always got along with him, he's the only one besides Maya I talked with in school, and he's also pretty good looking! brown curly hair, not too skinny, blue eyes, kind and he loves games! My type! I stopped wasting time and opened the message, it said:

"hi sarah! It's me jack!  know we haven't spoken in a while so..I-I wanna make it up to you! wanna hang out?"

. I screamed into my pillow as loud as I could, he's so adorable! I quickly texted back.

"Hi jack, sure we can hangout! when would be good for you?"

I got a text back a couple minutes later,

"how about tonight? 3 am, at the park!"

I started panicing, I wanna hangout with him but I can't risk this!...or can I? dad is apperantly gone for two days, and mom never checks up on me anyway. I took a deep breath "ok...I'm doing this..I'm sneaking out for the first time!" I thought to myself, as I got up and picked out the cutest outfit I had. But I couldn't decide which one! I then decided on a oversized shoulderless sweater, It had a warm grey color and sleeves almost covering my hands. then I just put on a black pantyhose and some brown boots. I didn't put on much Make-up, just blush, vanilla-Flavored chapstick(you never know ;3), and eyeliner. when it was almost 3 am. I took some money from mom's purse grabbed my backpack and climbed out through the window. While I was walking to the park, I got more and more nervous. what's gonna happen? Is this gonna be a good night or a fail? what if I mess up? what If I do something wrong!? I decided to calm myself down. when I was there, I checked my watch, 3 am on the dot, but why wasn't he here? I started to worry when suddendly something was covering my eyes, It was hands! jack's hands! "guess who" he said while giggling. I turned around and hugged him "you jackass you scared me!" I said while giggling. we walked to the 24-hour market to get some snacks "ok, now is your chance! make your first move!" I thought before I grabbed his hand.

I could see a faint blush on his cheeks. I started panicking internally, please hold back please hold back please hold back! I blushed as soon as he held back, interlacing his fingers with mine.

he let out a soft chuckle "s-so..what do you wanna get?" he said while looking at me with a warm smile. I got shy in an Instant, I stuttered "h-how about s-some gummyb-bears?" he grabbed all types of gummies, sour gummy worms, regular gummy worms, coca-cola gummies, just everything he could find! when were at the cashier and we wanted to pay, I pulled out some money and said "I'll pay for it!" as fast as I could. He looked at me, "oh sarah you don't have to-" "nonsense! my treat!" I payed the cashier and grabbed the bag. I felt him hold my hand tighter and I swear I blushed 50 shades of red at that moment.we walked back to the park and sat down on a nearby bench and talked for hours and hours, or at least it felt like we were. After about an hour I said

"well..I should get going now." in a pretty sad tone.I wanted to stay longer, but I didn't wanna risk anything. when I was about to get up jack pulled me back down, "w-wait! don't go so soon!" he said as he pulled me closer to him. my face turned red, I was so close to him I could almost..."b-but i have to go I..D-don't wanna risk getting caught.." I said, barely being able to form words.

he then pulled me even closer and said, "please..just a little longer.." before he put his hand on my cheek and put his lips aginst mine, kissing me softly. I was shocked at first but then calmed down, slowly melting into the kiss while putting my arms around his neck to pull him closer. he put his arms around my waist, keeping me close to him.

I felt like I was on clouds, I felt..save..like nothing could hurt me at that moment. after a few minutes, he pulled away from me while we were both breathing a little heavy, a string of saliva connecting our mouths. I looked at him with a warm smile, a red blush going over my cheeks. I was never more in love with someone then I was with him.  "so..I guess that means we're a thing now?" jack, scratching the back of his head. It was obvious this was his first kiss, well that makes the both of us. I gave him a kiss on the cheek and said "yeah, yeah it does.", letting out a soft giggle. we got up and he walked me home, holding my hand tightly. I gave him a final kiss on the lips before sneaking back into my room through the window.

as I laid in my bed, all I could think about was him. he just kissed me! my crush kissed me! he likes me back!! then I got a message from him that said:

"I love you <3".

 I texted back "I love you too<3",before taking one of my pillows, cuddling it and slowly drifting to sleep. dreaming about nothing else but him.

this was gonna be one hell of a story to tell Maya to tomorrow.
