"Get in loser we're going shopping," I recited the famous line by Regina George with her as I watched the movie 'Mean Girls'. I had a bowl of popcorn, candy, chocolate, pizza and I could go on but most importantly I have Stormi. Her with me in the flesh. Oh I've missed her so much.

I beamed at her as she emerged from the darkness and sat next to me on the couch, she passed the bowl of freshly microwaved popcorn she just prepared in the kitchen, all the lights were off with only my laptop serving as a source of light.

"You know, Regina might look like the true evil in this movie but it's really Janis. Look at all the shit she has Cady doing," Stormi shook her head in laughter, she looked so beautiful with her short hair.

"Well Regina isn't nice either," I shrugged slightly agreeing. "Still, two wrongs don't make a right."

"Well you were wrong for leaving me, " she said under her breath but I heard her clear as day. I didn't respond because I didn't know what to say instead, I kept quiet with shame eating me from the inside. We proceeded to watch the movie in silence but I couldn't stop glancing at Stormi, I missed her so much.

"I missed you Storm," I pouted.

"No you didn't," she laughed which caused me to frown in genuine confusion.

"Why would you think so? Of course I did."

"If you really did you wouldn't have disappeared on me like that, you left me remember?" Her tone was aggressive and on the instant a wave of guilt washed over me, again. "You don't leave someone you care about, makes no sense."

I sank into my couch, feeling regretful that I ever left in the first place. It wasn't a good feeling, I felt sick. I could tell how angry she truly is with me, she's is apoplectic with rage at my decision.

"I'm gonna use the bathroom, I'll be back in a minute."

"Of course you'd run from the conversation, " I stopped dead in my tracks to turn and look at her. As I was about to react a figure appeared from the dark beside her and before I could even open my mouth a bullet came flying through her forehead. Pieces of her brain splattered across the laptop and my clean white sheets. Her body slumped over before she fell forward and the blood began oozing from the wound. Instantly I took off trying to escape but the intruder was already behind me with the gun pointing directly between my eyes. With one stride they closed the gap between us, I couldn't see anything, to make matters worst they wore a mask.

"Hello Nayeli," there was a sinister tone in their voice.

"ANTHONY DON'T!" I screamed jumping up, I was gasping for air as if I just finished a marathon. Beads of sweat dribbled down my face, my clothes was drenched and so was the spot I laid in. I hate nightmares.

I dragged myself off the bed while pulling the sheets off as well. I stripped out of my clothes preparing to take a shower. I won't even attempt to go back to sleep, the chances of that happening right now is beyond low. The shower helped to relax my body, I spent an unusual amount of time in there doing absolutely nothing. Well, I was thinking.

Two hours later I sat on my couch and opened my laptop in front of me. I'm going to reach out to Stormi. First place, instagram. Stormi doesn't use instagram, nor any other social media platforms.

You're just making up excuses.

Thirty seconds of me just staring at the laptop, as I had a debate with myself if I should or shouldn't, went by before my fingers were moving swiftly across the keyboard as if my life depended on it. All that could be heard were the clicking of each keys, the time read just a few minutes past three.
