A Mage's Quest

Chapter 2: Combo Temple, a Challange, Golden Watch

My name is Ryu I've recently joined a party with Korve the warrior who acts like one of those stereotypical strong idiots, Calak who acts as the big brother type of person, Gloria who is basically the mom of the group and Alex who is very shy and reserved but they are a powerful healer when their teammates are in trouble. These troublemakers now basically live in my house which is also a magic ring shop.

"Hey Ryu, how much do you feed Kyu in the morning?" Asked Gloria

"Oh just two scoops of dragon food, any less or more and Kyu becomes a rage demon dragon" replied Ryu

"I'm guessing that's sarcasm but I'm not going to take any chances." said Gloria

"It's not" Replied Ryu "hey can someone make sure we have enough money for the Rent?"

"Yep on it Ryu" Replied Calak

Ryu starts to work on a ring for a customer

in the front room

"Hey Alex, can you check with Ryu about what kind of Rings we have because I can't tell what spells they are." requested Korve

"Sure, On it." Replied Alex

Alex Heads on down to Ryu's Work Shop only to find a note on it with an image and a letter that reads: "Hello. If you're reading this then Korve forgot what kind of rings there are for sale in which case I've taken the liberty of making a magic photo of each ring I have ever made and describes them when you select the ring." after reading the letter, Alex heads back and shows everyone the magic photo

"Ah, got it" remarked Korve after grabbing the photo, accidentally ripping the photo in half.

"Uh oh, Korve Ripped the Photo in half" Said Alex

soon the picture came back together as if it never ripped in the first place, on the back of the photo it reads the following: "Don't even try ripping apart, it's been enchanted to come back together no matter what."

"Well that sure is a relief." said Alex after they read the back of the photo.

"Yeah, next time I'll be careful." said Korve

"Yeah you'd better be." Replied Gloria

"It was an Accident!" Shouted Korve

"It had better have been!" Shouted Korve

"Portal" a portal appears on the wall and out pops Ryu's Head, "Hey guys in case you don't mind I would really rather some peace and quiet." Said Ryu before putting his head back through the portal and closed it.

A few minutes before opening, a delivery person comes to the door.

"delivery for a Mr Ryu" said the delivery person

"We'll take it, Ryu's just in the back making Rings." Said Calak

"Alright Just a Signature here and I'll be off" Replied the delivery person

after signing for the parcel Alex brings the package to Ryu's back room who tells them to just put it next to the door after Alex leaves Ryu opens the box to reveal a bunch of ring parts and materials as well as a Mana Doughnut

"Ah my daily Morning Doughnut" said Ryu after taking a bite from his doughnut.

Later in the day when Ryu had Finished making some rings and sending Kyu out to deliver them, the party had some free time and as such went out to lunch at the local market.

"Alright guys go find whatever it is you want to get, just stick to the budget." said Gloria

"Kay" said everyone.
