GRIMM GAMES

CHAPTER 2:

Hey Gamers, Chapter two is up. Enjoy Grimm.

Part of me is excited that something good and fun is happening in my boring life but the other part of me is terrified that I might die even before the game starts as I have heard that Cryphus is a dangerous isolated planet.

Lori, Miley and Riley are furious that smoke came out from their ears, Shawn tried to speak the king out of it but didn't even get a word out because of the guards surrounding him. honestly though, the king is a very unpredictable man and it intrigues me of why he chose me. What crawled up his ass and died?

Shawn told me the 101 rules of the Grimm Games well, mostly he kept on starring at me like it was the last time seeing me alive. And I assured him that I won't but I knew I was lying to the both of us.

"Neri! Get your small ass out hear or else I'll leave you!" Shawn yells from down stairs "Shawn Meriano! That language will not be tolerated in my house!" Lori yells at him and I can picture his ears burning red from embarassment "sorry Ma'" he apologizes and i can't help but laugh "Neri! Get your ass down here and be gone!" Lori yells and I frown. WTF?

I grab my bag pack and rush down the stairs not bothering to bid my goodby-"Goodbye She-devil!!" I yell towards Lori who stops reading a magazine "what did-" I dash out the door and run towards Shawn's car "Finally, I-""Drive!" I cut him off and he opens his mouth to protest but the front door opening cuts him off and there stands Lori engulfed in flames. And that all it takes for him to Drive the car.

"Oh my shit!" I cuss totally fangirling over the royal palace, it looked like a building from afar but this is amazingggg "sometimes I don't understand you, going all girlzila on a biulding but you are sitting to a hunk right now" Shawn complains as he parks the car "Awww, where's the hunk?" I ask and we laugh until we walk in.

we walk into what seems to be a meeting room and by we, I mean the twenty people participating in the games including Prince Xander and Princess Amanda.

I think Prince Xander hates me already, as he said "that smile, I don't like it. That scarf and gloves, don't you feel hot? And why not get a hair cut?" He makes me feel insecure and unfit, but then again am used to it, his just another name to add to a long list.

I hate to say this, but his the most attractive guy I have ever seen; he has this curly honey brown hair that could even be tied and these beautiful eye catching crimson red eyes that put roses to shame. His a year old than me, making him eighteen and an ass. His too quiet and has the whole "don't fuck with me" vibe rolling off of him.

But princess Amanda is the complete opposite, she just won't shut up but one glare form her brother would shut the girl up.

"What are we doing here exactly?" I whisper in Shawn's ears making him shiver and gulp for some reason "We are waiting for instructions from King Roman about the games" He says and then gets up and leaves me with a bunch of strangers and my sisters.

I hear a really creepy melodic laugh and everyone goes quiet as we look at Prince Xander "how dumb are you?" he asks looking at me  and we all frown our brows "who are you talking to?" a guy asks in the corner, Prince Xander rolls his eyes "Not you, the black haired girl with the long Rapunzel hair" pointing at me and my smile almost flatters from how angry I am that he called me dumb.

"Am-am not dumb!" I stutter getting some chuckles from everyone and I face turns red from anger and embarrassment 'keep it cool' I chant to myself when left gloved hand starts becoming cold and my right gloved hand starts burning through the material "Does anyone smell smoke?" a girl asks sniffing the air but everyone shakes their heads.

"Back to the situation at hand, Neriah, you are aware that your bestfriend is in love with you" he states and my eyes widen at that before I burst into laughter "Shawn? Oh please, you are delusional your highness" I lie, not forgetting that he has a freaking crown on his head.

Before anyone can say a word, King Roman walks in and Shawn trailing behind him. 

"Your spaceship is ready to take you to Blood flower (the vampire kingdom) since they are the ones who won the gem last year, they are the ones hosting everyone this year. And I expect nothing but the best from all of you and those I have chosen this year, do not let me down. That is all" he says dismissing us but I stay getting curious glances from everyone "Your majesty, may I have a word with you?"

Am the last one getting on the spaceship and the only  free seat is between Prince Xander and Shawn 'way to put awkward in this situation' I think as I sit ignoring the curious glances from everyone "so....what did to talk about with King Roman?" Shawn asks me getting murmurs in agreement and I tense remembering what he told me "You will be our lucky charm but only until I say that you are allowed to use your abilities"  

"Just how thrilled and grateful he chose me" I lie just as we enter the dark clouded kingdom known as the kingdom of the dead.
