Chapter 6

1 Month

It has been 1 month since Bowser was locked up and life has been going pretty good with no one dying or anything bad happening. They have kept doing trips to the ruins to collect food. Xavier was hacking wood for fire wood on the yard and Andrew said "Have a break good man!", "Let me continue", so he wiped the sweat from his forehead and said "Thank you!" and sat on a lodge. Valentine and Ludwig joined him and Ludwig laughed and said "By the way you look, You seem to work all the time!", so he smirked and said "That's what we must do to survive" and Valentine said "Here is some food" and she spread it to them. They were grapes. Ludwig took one and said "Holy shit" and laughed "What are these?", "These are heavenly!", so Valentine smiled and said "I found them Behind our camp!", "There are bunch of them there!", so Xavier said with a smirk "Well if the reviews are that good then I quess I cant miss the heavenly taste" and ate it, closed his eyes and followed with "mmm", "Good", "Oh god!", so they laughed and Ray who walked by asked "May I taste too?", so Valentine smiled, gave the cup and said "Sure, there are plenty of them!", so he tasted and said "Yeah, your reviews were pretty accurate". Izzy, Jack and Rose were playing a home made board game and they were laughing loud. Somehow Rose had become like a sister to the Martinez siblings. 

Izzy said "Okay Rose, your turn!" and she won the game, so she yelled "I WON, I WON, WOHOOO!", so Jack and Izzy and both started to celebrate with "WOOO!" and broke into laughter and Izzy told her "Good job, Rose!". Winston and his son Ben were talking about a subject, they had been talking about lately. Ben asked "Why can't I hang out with Rose?!", "I wanna be a kid and have fun!", so Winston said "I am your Father and I know what is best for you!", "We can't trust just anyone", "You are staying inside!", so Ben said with a dissapointed voice "Okay..." and Winston walked out of their hut and he went to work. Omar decided to go check Ben out, because he had noticed how lonely he seems to be. As he walked inside, Winston saw this and something clicked inside his head, so he ran towards Omar and threw him out of the hut and started to beat him, so Omar tried to yell "Stop!" and Joey tried to pull him away and Winston snapped out of it and said "What have I done?" and slowly walked away. Amanda said "What a freak" and Ben looked scared of his Father and ran inside their hut. Joey helped Omar up and asked "Are you Okay?", so he said "Yeah, my face just hurts", so Joey said "Yeah, you have some bruises", "I can treat them!", "Lets go to my hut". Winston came to Ben and said "Son, what happened before", "I'm sorry", "I don't know what happened". Ben didn't say anything and was clearly afraid and Winston saw this, so he said "Son, you don't have to be scared of me", so he nodded slightly and rolled to sleep. Winston went outside and walked toward the cliff while people were yelling "Freak!".

He stood on the cliff and said to himself "I was scared". (Flashback) Honey could you look after our baby as I visit one shop still?", Winston said "Sure, dont hurry!". He took a new toy from his bag and gave it to Ben and played with it with him and made him laugh. Then he jokingly said "Wait a second little buddy", "I will throw this paper to garbage" and he walked to the garbage can and threw the paper away, but when he came back he noticed that his baby chair was empty, so a huge wave of panic went thru his body as he yelled "BEN!", "NO!" and he continued to cry his name as he ran the outlet hallway. (Present moment) Winston opened his eyes and thought in his head how glad he is that they found him not long after he went missing, but it happened again, when he lost Ben when he was 3 years old, but got him back again. Winston started to cry and Omar who came from Joey's hut came and asked "What is it?", so he said "Sorry, what I did!", "When Ben was really young, he was kidnapped two times", "That situation before somehow made me act how I didn't realize to act then". Omar understood and said "It's Okay, I understand", "No need to apologize". 

Winston said "Should I let Ben be more free", "He is 10 years old, but I don't feel good about it", so Omar said "I think it would be good to give him a little freedom", so he said "He and Rose has wanted to hang out", "Maybe I should allow that", so Omar said "Good!" and smiled. Winston walked to his son and said "Ben, you can go and play with Rose", "Sorry, I should have let you before", so Ben thanked, smiled and left, but Winston said "Wait", "Come here", so he did and Winston gave him a hug and while holding him he said "I love you so much", "I want you to know that", "I may have been a bit rough and I'm sorry", so Ben said "Dad, I love you too!" and ran outside to Rose who was waiting and Winston smiled while watching them play football on the yard. Apollo and Yolanda had become best friends in a such a short time. Their connection was strong, because they relate to each other so much. They watched the sunset and ate on the cliff and Apollo said "I don't say this enough, but thank you", "Without you here, my life would be miserable", "You have shown me that there is so much good to look forward to!", Yolanda smiled and said "You brighten up my day too" and they hugged.

Xavier told Valentine "I will go and give Bowser some food" and left towards the back room and as he opened the door, he said "What the hell?!". He was hanging on a noose. Xavier quickly cut the noose and made him fall to the ground and Bowser started to cough while Xavier asked "Why the hell would you do that!?", so he broke and said "I couldn't take it anymore", "I deserve to die and you know that!". Xavier sighed and asked "Who gave you the noose?", so he said "Zayn", so he said "That's not good". (Flashback) "NOW STOP CRYING AND BE A MAN!" 10 year old Bowsers father was beating him after he was telling about getting bullied and beaten in school and even teachers bullying him. His father kept hitting him, while he was crying in pain. (Present time) Bowser was kept in his cell and he was crying on the floor, hitting his head to the wall and screaming. Xavier went to Zayn, took a hold of him and asked "Why the hell did you give him a noose!?", so he first hesitated to tell, but realized that he knows, so he said "I wanted to help him", so Xavier let him go, shook his head and said "No killing here!", "No assisting in suicide!", "Understand?", so he nodded, so he let him go. A group of people came from a hunt. Andrew was one of them, so he came to Xavier in panick and said "Something took Josh away!", so Xavier "What?", so he explained "Something fast came and dragged him away, so quick that we didn't even notice!", so Xavier said "Must be animals", "We go after him first light, Okay?", so he nodded. Then everyone went to bed.
