    Lilith and Sam were shown to be nice friends, mostly in second season. But, if Michelle wasn't existed or haven't gotten any love interest for Sam, they could be more than friends since she's only lonely and rude on the outside when she's kind and royal on the inside like most of tsunderes, they just need more time than it was in canon.
