So yeah, the necklace from before. Turns out it's a bow and a quiver full of arrow. And there's even an instruction how to use it. If I ran out of arrow I just have to turn the whole back into this necklace and wait for like 5 minutes before it refill again. Also, I can changed the arrow head whenever I wanted to. There's a button on the bow and a list of combination that I have to enter before I got the right kind of arrow head. Click it two times for the explosive arrowhead, three times fast for the electrical one, hold the button for two second for the fire one, two times fast for the arrow head that will stun the enemies with bright light.

And yes, it's a gift from Apollo. As an apology for not being there when I'm dying after Luke almost killed me. I looked at the pendant, it's a phoenix. I only shook my head slightly as I wore the necklace, I guess thanks dad?

I walked towards the archery field to try my new weapon when I realized Annabeth walking towards me and oh boy. I literally could see dark cloud hang above her head and the camper quickly walked away or moved silently away from her. I took a step back cautiously and wish there's a hole for me to hide, because angry Annabeth is a dangerous one.

"Reiner" she growled and jabbed her finger into my chest "Join me in the chariot race"

I blinked a couple of times and tried to process what happened. Oh right, last night Tantalus introduced himself and called Clarisse a war hero, despised Percy and me, and made the chariot race available again, despite the fact that those game almost kill a lot of campers. And we spent an hour watching Tantalus cursing while chasing a cheeseburger on the table. Yes, a cheese burger ran away from him like a plague. I didn't even understand why in the freaking world the guy who got avoided by FOOD had been chosen to be the camp counselor. The god line of thinking never cease to amaze me.

Also, one big commotion about Tyson being Percy brother, technically half-brother. And most of the camper avoided Percy like a plague. And then Annabeth tried to work with Percy in the race, then Percy chose Tyson side when Annabeth told Tyson to screw himself because he's a Cyclops. And those things ended up with Annabeth in front of me, ready to tear me apart if I said no to her rather sudden request. I quickly raised my hand up in a defensive position, and chuckled nervously.

"Whoa, easy there" I said carefully "I never said anything about joining the race and I don't want to die"

Annabeth pulled me closer to her "I don't care. I will ask Lee to let you join the race and work with Athena cabin. I'll prove to him that he pick the wrong ally"

I blushed when our nose almost touch "O-okay, okay" I quickly said and Annabeth smiled at me, almost too sweetly.

Then she dragged me into her cabin, clearly ignoring the complaint that escaped my mouth and the other campers only gave me proud looks, like I'm some kind of hero who save them from Annabeth' wrath. Annabeth slammed her cabin door opened and successfully gained all the attention of Athena kids in the room.

"Stay there" she said and disappeared in the back of the cabin.

I only nodded and stood there awkwardly, because a dozen pair of stormy gray eyes are all on me, probably trying to figure out what the hell is an Apollo kid doing in here. A boy a few years younger than me walked towards me and gave me a smile.

"So, Annabeth dragged you here?" he asked.

"Yeah, you can say that" I answered and chuckled.

"I'm Malcolm, Annabeth' half-brother" he said and took a glance back "So, why is she dragging you here?"

"Uh, she's 'asked' me to be her ally in the Chariot race" I said and rubbed the back of my neck.

Malcolm raised his blonde eyebrows "Huh? Didn't she want to work with Percy? I'm sure she said that to me"
