Chapter ] 5 : The Phone Call

After Elena & Klaus got done talking, Elena went downstairs to make dinner. She couldn't deny that the laughter, the talking had sent sparks around her. She felt safe beside Klaus. She felt loved beside Klaus. She didn't exactly know if it was love, but she felt something. When she got down the stairs she was pinned to a wall.
"Hello, darling. Goodbye, darling." She looked at the person to see Kol. Oh great she thought before she was bitten by him. She wasn't scared because she had been bitten a lot, but she screamed anyway. Suddenly Kol got thrown off her.
"Oh.. Nik its you. Your doppelganger's blood taste delicious. You want to try some? Oh, wait you have." Kol said sarcastically.
"Enough with your games Kol or you'll end up with a dagger in your heart." Klaus said.
"When will the dagger threats end? They're getting old. I'm just trying to have fun. After all she & her brothers did kill me."
"& now you're alive. If you kill her it will be for nothing, but then again you kill people for nothing. Keep your hand off my  doppelganger & her brother or you will end up in a box longer than Finn." Klaus said before Kol left the room the angry.
"Thank you, for saving me." Elena said holding you her bleeding neck.
"What are friends for? Let me heal you before Rebekah starts yelling at me." Klaus said before bitting his wrist & feeding it to Elena. When Elena drank from Klaus she felt more power flowing through her. She didn't like it but she loved the taste of his blood. When she pulled away she never felt more alive in her life.

Elena as always was all alone in the parlour. She listened to voice mail like she did every night. But today was odd everyone would call her, but it was only Bonnie Today.
"Hey, Elena if you're listening to the call me it about Alaric." Bonnie said crying. She jumped off the couch & called her. She was scared.
"Hello? Elena is that you?" Bonnie answered the phone unsure. She was at the broading house. Stefan, Damon, & Caroline became quite when Bonnie said Elena's name.
"Yes, Bonnie it's me. You said that something happened to Alaric, what is it?" Elena asked.
"I'm sorry Elena I tried to stop her."  Bonnie said crying.
"Stop who? Bonnie what happened to Alaric?" Elena asked not ready to hear what happened.
"Katherine turned Alaric into a vampire & than killed him after." Bonnie said. Elena dropped her phone to the ground & fell with it. She started to crying.
"Elena? Elena are you ok-" Bonnie was cut off when Elena throw the phone at a wall. She screamed watching the phone break into pieces. The fire in the fireplace grew when she screamed. She conutiued to cry. When she felt hand on her she looked up to see Klaus. His eye were soft when he looked at her.
"Elena are you okay? What happened?" Klaus asked consured.
"It's Alaric he, he um.. Katherine killed him." She conutiued to cry even more than before. "She turned him before killing." Klaus pulled her onto the couch.
"It will be okay." He said pulling her into a hug.
"No it won't. Okay? Alaric's dead how am I supposed to tell Jeremy that everyone well loves dies."
"You said Katherine turned him before he died? That means we can bring back from the Other Side. Tomorrow I will get a witch on it."
"No I want to do it. I'm as strong as you, if not then I channel one of you guys. Okay? I want to, I owe it to him." Elena said.
"Okay now get to sleep." Klaus said. Elena snuggled into Klaus' chest. When she fell asleep, Klaus pick her up & took her to her bedroom.

When Elena woke up she was in her bedroom. She thought that last night was a dream but when she turned over she hit chest, Klaus' chest. "Good morning love." He said.
"When did we get here?" Elena asked.
"I brought you here right after you fell asleep on the couch. I would've went to my room but your brother was snoring. I can't sleep when he snores. So I just stayed here."
"I'm going to go take a shower. & I'll tell Jeremy about Alaric & start packing."
"Packing? What do you mean packing? I thought you were staying here?" Klaus asked confused.
"I am but I want to go to his funeral. I'll hangout with Bonnie to see if she has a resuscitation spell in one of her grimores. If can't find anything then I will find something in your mother grimore." Elena said. She got up & went to her dresser & pick out her clothes. & she went to the bathroom that connected to her bedroom, she shut the bathroom door & turned on the shower.

When Elena got downstairs she saw Jeremy in the parlour talking to Rebekah & Elijah. While Kol was leaning up against the wall beside the fireplace holding a glass cup of Whiskey, smirking. Elena was feeling sad & nervous when Jeremy saw her.
"Hey, Elena. What's wrong?" Jeremy asked worried when he seen the look on Elena's face.
"Umm, Jeremy can we talk outside for a minute?" Elena asked.
"Uh, yeah." Jeremy said hesitantly. When they got outside. Jeremy asked, "What did you need to talk about?"
"Yesterday, Bonnie called. Jeremy something happened to Alaric." Elena said before sobbing.
"Elena what happened to him?" Jeremy asked. Jeremy wanted to know what happened to him, his last parent.
"Katherine turned him & killed him." She said before crying. The new was unexpected to Jeremy & Elena. "I'm going to Mystic Fall for the rest of the week. When I get back I'll have a spell to bring him back." Jeremy had tears in his eyes, but he did let them shed.
"Do whatever you need to bring him back. I'll stay here, okay?" Jeremy did wait for a response, but he kissed her head & went inside.

"When are you coming back?" Klaus said leaning on the door frame of Elena's bedroom. Last month Klaus got someone to replace her bedroom door that was once down.
"I'll be back by the end of the week. I don't even know why I'm coming back. I have anything to come back to." Elena said.
"What if I give you a reason to come back?" Klaus asked coming closer to Elena. She looked into his eyes with love. In the three months she truly got to know him, she fall in love with the Devil himself.
"How are going to do tha- " Elena was interrupted when Klaus pulled her into a kiss. The kiss was the most passionate, electrical kiss they've both ever had. Elena's hands wrap around Klaus' neck while his was on her hips. When they pulled away, there foreheads were touching. They were panting, smiling at each other.
"Promise you'll call every night?" Klaus said.
"I promise." She said before pecking his lips.
"I'll see you Sunday. See you later." He said pecking her lip before leaving her room.

Elena said goodbye to everyone. When she hit the break on the car, smiled thinking about the kiss she had with Klaus. She wondered what her friends would think about her dating the original hybrid, Niklaus Mikaelson the one person who brought her pain.
She wondered what her friends would think about her about being a witch. She wasn't worried about keeping secrets from them, she was worried if they found out themselves.
