I woke up, covered with cold sweat.. That night, dreams were as unusual as ever, but still...
"Another nightmare, honey?" My mom yelled in the kitchen.
"I'm ok, mom. don't worry..." I yelled back.
I started packing for my school trip. Heavy Hiking equipment were supposed to complete my luggage, but Dad said we would meet in Vermont, so he offered to carry my secret, hidden, very dangerous creations trough half a country... Nice.
I colected a bunch of metal straps, grabbed my breastplate and pinned it on my chest. I continued connecting my armour parts until i was wearing 100 tons of combat gear. I snatched my sword ffrom behind my bed and pressed the no. 8 button... Little spiders crawled from a metal box placed near the chimney. They started cleaning the room with a verry weird speed...
I left the spiders doing their job. The stairs would eventualy let loose of annoyng noises, my father would eventualy wake up with another man to man speech about those hot girls at the training spot and my brother would eventually rescue me from dad's dirty hands...
But my brother is no longer here... And he will never come back...
The story goes like this: My brother was attacked by some kind of creepy weirdos who knocked him down and left him uncounscious... With a final effort, he grabed my fragile hand and trew me over the broken door... The building collapsed in 5 minutes or less... All that was left was his skull shaped ring and my bloody, filthy, ripped off hand... That was enough for me to try searching for him... I trained restlessly... I reached Claw swordsman level when i was only 8... I had my hand replaced with a mechanical one... I had to do an amplificated surgery operation to modify my lungs so i could run 24h without breaking a sweat... I developed the perfect serie of biological signature based armors and swords so if the owner of this kind of armor gets injured, he will be instantly healed... All of those.. Just for him... I just... I just want my brother back...
So... Back to the present... I jumped over the stairs... The resort no.14 in the left leg extended and hit the floor before my foot did... I ran past the kitchen, trew a message for mom on the coffe table and jumped right trough the open window...
The frozen breeze filled my lungs with cold deception... I stopped running... I walked down Finnington street... Looking for Guanedai... Fortunately, The street was empty...
I raised my sword and activated my in-built remote..
"Jump no.63... Coordinated by 67°23', usual speed... And look out for Guanedai..."
"Roger"
As usual, my left foot grew longer, excavating the ground, then opening as a resort and trowing me into open air... I hit the back of my breastplate... As a result, 2 pairs of wings extended as i started gliding over Little Palcomia District... 'Any time by now, guys... Where are you?'
