It was the day of the ball. The common room was full of chatter from everyone. The hall was being prepared for the dance so the breakfast was delivered to the common room. We all went and ate some before getting ready.
After eating Daphne started helping me with my hair while Millicent was doing her own nails. After an hour we all were ready. I put on my shoes and grabbed my purse. We all went down to the common room and waited for our dates. Daphne and Millicent headed out first while i waited for Ace. After a while, Ace came and we headed out.

Pansy-Same goes for you

The hall was dim, decorated with arm lighting and beautiful decorations. The table and benches had been moved out for the dance, while the food stations were put on the side. The stage belonged to the band who were playing great songs. Ace and I went to grab some food before finding our friends. The music was loud and everyone was vibing. 
Ace-  What do you think about the decorations?
Pansy- It's beautiful, sad that it only lasts a night.
Ace-Yeah

I spotted the group dancing in the crowd and asked Ace to join me. The music seemed to fade as the night became dim when everyone paired off when the slow song came on. I decided to take a break and sat down on one of the chairs. The girls had paired off and were enjoying the dance. Suddenly I felt some on sit beside me, I caught sight of blonde hair. Draco. He looked elegant as he did most of the time. The energy became stiff when both of them didn't speak a word. Just as I was about o ask him about his day.
Ace- Shall we dance?
I gladly accepted the offer and walked towards the floor with him. One thing about living in the wizarding world is that you get invited to a lot of balls meaning you learn to dance at an early age. I looked at the chair I was sitting in and was met with Draco's gaze. I looked away before focusing on Ace. The music changed to pop which got the nerves pumping in the room. Tonight was a night to remember.

The night came to an end and we all crashed on the common room sofa.
Daphne- Tonight was incredible!!!
Ace- Truly
Pansy- I am too tired to talk right now so goodnight guys.
I headed towards my room, got changed, and fell asleep.
