Dalum was his name. Wow. Such an elegant name for an extraordinary person. His face sparkled like golden wine in the sunlight.
"Uh-H-Hello Dalum. My name is Colum."
His face lit up with a smirk.
"Pleasure to meet you Colum. I'm new around here...Soo i was maybe wondering if you wanted to be friends?"
I was starstruck. I had a loss of words. Someone this attractive was verbally making noises to me?!
"Of course, I mean yes, I mean YES."
I blurted
Dalum had a confused look on his face.
"Sorry Dalum, I do that when i get nervous." I said
"It totally okay, I understand. Anyways, would a little hangout at the coffee shop around the corner after school be alright? I just want to get to know you."Dalum said.
"Yes! I'm so down with that" I said happily
Oh my god. DALUM WANTS TO HANG WITH ME. I was exploding in my mind. I was smiling the whole bus ride.
The bus slowly pulled up to our highschool shortly after. I walked out into the chilly winter air.
"See you after school" Dalum said with a grin.
"See ya!" I said.
