Chapter 8

Satoshi's POV

I ran up the stairs because Naomi took Yuka and hid in a classroom. I left them to drsw the monster away from them, because they're safety means the world to me. I got up thr stairs and saw the one thing I wish I couldve never had to see.

Yoshiki was on the ground bleeding from his stoamch. Most of his insides had been spilled into his lap, and there was a large pool of blood. There was a message above him, but I couldnt read it. Yoshiki needed my help.

As I fell down beside him he just looked up and smiled at me. I had tears flowing freely down my face. I loved him, more than anything else in the world. I will find whoever did this and make sure they pay for what they have done.

"I love you too" I said remembering I saw part of the message. It said he loved me, so it felt right to tell him how I felt as well.

Then his eyes went dull. He body was cold and limp, but some blood was still seeping through his clothes. I had grown cold and I had to take his jacket. I sat beside him and just let my tears fall. I had tried to keep my feelings hidden, but Seiko said I should've told him.

~Shinohara!~ I thought looking around. Since 5 of us were in this school, the other 4 had to be, right?

It didnt feel right to leave Kishinuma how he was, so I slung his body over my shoulder and carried him down the stairs. He was a lot lighter then he appeared, mostly because all he was, was skin and bones (literally).

I knocked on the door Yuka and Naomi had hidden in. They opened the door and I walked in. Naomi's smile truned to a face of horror when she saw what this place had done to Kishinuma. I took his student ID, so I would always remember him. I set him on the ground and sometting came over me, I kissed him.

Naomi looked in sadness but then it turned to pity. Yuka didnt quite understand, although Im sure she understood the definition if straight and gay.

"We have to find the others" I said with a newly found determination.

"Satoshi, I was with Seiko earlier, so we still have to find her. We also have to locate Ayumi, Ms. Yui, Mayu, and Morishige" Naomi said counting the people on her checklist.

"Very lucky............ You all are very lucky" A child's voice said.

"Ahh!"

"Dont worry. I was trapped here like you, except my friends and I were split up"

"But you were all in this school. Couldnt you have just met up?" Naomi asked.

"This school is one school. But it contains many closed spaces. Each closed space is sort of a different dimension" the child said.

"May we see you?" I asked.

A blue apparition appeared and Naomia nd Yuka screamed. I just foud. This as more drive to get out. If they kill tiny children, then Yuka isn't safe.

"You see? This place killed me and all of my friends, you all have been transported in the same closed space" the ghost said.

"So all we have to do is search high and low for the ones we love?" I said with a smile. This could prove to be relatively easy.

"If they aren't already dead!" the spirit said with a laugh.

Now this was personal! This school had claimed tge life of the one I love. It wont claim anyone else's. And that is a promise!
