he liked you broken, a little out of your wits. he wanted to grab you and squeeze the marinated faith out of you until the only thing left of you were his bad ideas of love. and oh, my foolish girl, everyone knows you would have been anything he wanted you to be. but you settled for a wasteland infinity of true-blue travesty.
[ but it's okay because he'll love you. ]
he sets your heart on fire. you're crying, screaming, pleading every bone in your shrink-wrapped body to douse his ripened prints with crystal water and epsom salt but he's spreading rebellion across your chest with liquor on his lips and won't you know, it's flooding through your elastic arteries until you're picking up your freshly roasted flesh from the bottom of the bathtub.
[ but it's okay because he loves you. ]
a boy with roguish bones of pure blue moon grievance rings like an SOS siren through your melting pot of a brain until he leaves a mess of you so sweet in a heart-shaped casket hand-made with poetic purgatory and tear-dropped eulogies.
[ but it's okay because he loved you, right? ]
