(okay so starting right off the bat the first movie i'm going to be reviewing is mid90s by jonah hill. and please keep it in mind that i'm going to be very brutally honest with every movie i review, so sorry if i totally bash on your favorite movie. )

my rating: 8/10
I give this movie an 8/10 because even though the cinematography was beautiful and i cried in the end, there was one part in particular that made it lose 2 points. If you guessed the scene when they're all at the party and Sunny Suljic has to make out with Alexa Demie you are 100% correct. I mean first off who wouldn't want to make out with Alexa Demie but Sunny Suljic was 11 years old when they made him to that scene, where as Alexa Demie was in her 20s. i mean i understand the 'it's Hollywood, stuff like that always happens aspect, but i had to skip over that entire scene i was so revolted at the fact that they would make a literal child do that.

Summary of the movie:
this movie is about an boy named Stevie who bikes by the local skate shop one day and notices the skaters and how cool they look and he really wants to be apart of that scene. he ends up going in the shop and the punks that work and skate around there take Stevie under there wing, letting the young boy party, skate and hangout with them whenever. Stevie spent a lot of time with these boys drinking and partying but never told his mom he met these boys. this movie had a lot of heartfelt scenes and really showed the real up and down of people and there life choices, it's one of those movies where i cant imagine there lives not going on after the movie ends, if all just seems so real. Never really seen any other movies Jonah Hill has directed but he honestly did such a good job with this one I don't think i'll miss another Jonah Hill movie.
