After Izuku finished his snack they walked out of the dining room and into the castle gardens. Walking along the stone path and admiring the flowers and small critters, making sure Touya was with him.

Of course he wouldn't leave Izuku, so he was right behind him, a bit uninterested in what was happening however, dull and quiet like usual.

Izuku had noticed that too, wondering why the man never showed any emotion. Coming across the fluffle of bunnies and picked one up, showing it to Touya to see his reaction.

He eyed it and gently gave it a head scratch, though his mouth never moved from the ill-mannered expression he always held. The only way he really showed anything was though how relaxed his eyebrows were, though it was a small detail to notice. At the moment he seemed rather pleased.

Izuku hummed, giving it a kiss before setting it down and brought him to a Rose Bush. He sniffed one and reached out to pluck it though Touya quickly stopped him.

He gently took hold of his wrist, checking the stem for thorns as he knelt a little and used his finger nail to cut into it a little at a part there weren't torns at, snapping it off by gently bending it the other way and carefully held it to Izuku. "Careful."

The boy gaped up at him softly, nodding and taking the flower. "Father said that roses were mothers favorite." He said.

The man could hear the slight sad undertone to his voice so he picked another, ignoring the fact that this time he was pricked, handing it carefully to Izuku before glancing at a small bead of blood on his thumb and wiped it on his pants blankly.

Izuku held the two, smiling softly up at him again. "My knight.." he said and held them in one hand before taking Touya's large one into his own.

"We are bound, and so far I have come to like you a lot already. So please..make sure I live long enough to see out my fathers wish."

He nodded slowly. "Of course."

The boy seemed to be starring into his eyes deeply again, Izuku bringing him down enough to gently cup his face which smooshed his cheeks a bit.

"They shine like sapphires, but have the tint of the ocean."

Touya just let him do as he pleased, humoring him and hummed.

This made Izuku pout. "You know..I haven't seen you smile all day. You are quite the odd one." He said and let him go.

He stood up straight again and just placed a hand on Izuku's head. "Odd?"

"You are a man of few words and not many expressions. Perhaps is it that..you are not happy being my knight!?" Izuku gawked, holding his freckled cheeks.

He shook his head and knelt down in front of him again, the still hand on his head moving for once as he gave him head pats.

Izuku seemed to be a bit more comforted now. "Then, if it isn't me then why?"

"..used to not speaking." He shrugged.

"How come?"

Touya shrugged once more.

Izuku being a kid and all was not very satisfied with this answer. "Hmmm..well then, I'll just make it my duty. As king it's my responsibility to make sure all is well with my subjects. So I promise to make you smile one day."

His brows raised a little in amusement as he gave him another head pat and stood again.

Time passed and it was nightfall, not too late into th night though. Only about eight o clock which was the little Kings bedtime and of course he dreaded this as well.

So what did he do? He hid in between the castle bookshelves in the library. He thought he was so smart, snickering to himself.

Little did he know Touya was by the door, waiting for him to get tired so he could just pick him up and bring him to bed without fuss.

Some time passed and there was a shriek, Izuku running out screaming "nononononononononono-" and saw Touya, seeing this as a perfect opportunity and climbed him, arms wrapped tight around his neck. "I-I-i-In the library!"

"What is?" He was on defense, arms supporting Izuku as he looked in the direction he came from.

"S..s..SPIDER!!!"

He turned dry and slowly exhaled, carrying him back to his room.

"It was so long a-and hairy, so many eyes and it was crawling on my arm!" The boy cried, shivering at the mere thought and clung to him more.

Touya opened his bedroom door and brought him to his bed.

It was clear that Izuku wasn't letting go.

He resorted to dangling him over the bed.

"Nu! What if it comes back to eat me!!" Izuku whined.

"I'll kill it." He responded simply.

"Ah, how noble of you." The boy said and finally let go, hugging his teddy. Clearly looking at him and waiting for something.

He just stared before starting to walk to the door.

"W-where are you going!" Izuku said with a hurt voice and look, sitting ontop of his knees. "You haven't tucked me in."

An audible sigh stopped him, Touya turning and walked back over and lifted the blanket for him.

The boy laid down and got comfy, smiling as the blanket was put ontop of him and Touya made sure he was all snug. Though before the male could go Izuku tugged gently on his sleeve.

"Story."

He stared at him in a 'Are you serious.' way but sat on the edge of the bed.

"..about what?"

"Hmmm, a happy one."

"Okay, about what?"

"You have no imagination." Izuku said. "Then, maybe one with magic!"

Touya took a deep breath with a glance at his own calloused hands.

"Magic.." He mumbled slowly.

"I've always wanted to practice it, and I'm supposed to start my lessons soon! I know it'll be hard but I want to be an amazing magic user like father and be able to be like the pros who fight to keep everyone safe. I'm small but I am mighty, so always know that one day I'm going to be the bestest king eve..r. And I'll make everyone happy, I'll make you smile too...so wait just a little longer.." he yawned, eyes closing and holding onto one of his fingers.

"My knight...one day.."

He was out like a light.

Touya just blankly  watched him for a little before getting up and turned the lights off, standing guard by the door in the hall.
