Chapter Seven

It had been a few weeks since the boys had got caught by their father. They ended up buying a house, which they live together in. Vic dropped out of school, getting a job at a fast food restaurant.

"Hey beautiful." Mike said before pressing his lips onto his brothers.

"Hey. How was school?" Vic asked. Mike smiled and kissed his lips again.

"Fine. I've been waiting to do this all day." He whispered against his brothers lips and kissed him sweetly.

"You honestly don't know how happy you make me." Vic whispered. Mike pulled away from Vic's lips and pecked his nose.

"You make me happy too. Finally it's just you and me. Together forever." Mike said with a smile. He took both Vic's hands and locked their fingers together.

Vic nodded. "Forever."

"You smell good." Mike whispered in Vic's damp hair. They were laying in bed, snuggled next to each other. Vic had his head in Mike's chest, hearing his soft heartbeat while Mike had his arm around him.

"I'm so glad tomorrow is Friday. We can spend the whole weekend together."

Mike smiled and nuzzled Vic's hair. "Don't you have to work though?"

"Nope. I'm off for this weekend."

Mike sighed happily. "Good. I'm so lucky to have you."

Vic smiled. "I just wish that people would accept our relationship. I don't like hiding it. I wish I could hold your hand in public and kiss you and just... everything."

"Yeah. Me too. Maybe someday though we can get out of this town and move far away from everyone and everything here."

Vic nodded. "Yeah. Maybe. Well I'm tired so-" But he was interrupted by a knock at the door.

They both stumbled out of bed and rushed down the stairs. Vic opened the door and frowned when he saw the police.

"Yes?"

"Vic Fuentes, correct?"

Vic nodded. "Yes. Is there something wrong?"

"Yes. You do know your relationship is illegal, correct?"

Vic raised his eyebrows. "Relationship?"

The officer nodded. "With your brother, Michael."

Vic chuckled. "Me? In a relationship with my brother? That's ridiculous!"

"We got a call from your father-"

"Oh, him. No wonder. He was angry when me and my brother moved out. He's been trying to get us to come back home, but we refuse. I'm guessing that's why he called and lied to you." Vic lied easily and smiled sweetly at them.

The officer raised his eyebrow. "So, this was all a lie?"

Vic nodded. "Yes. My father never was too bright. If he calls back, ignore him, okay?"

The officer unsurely nodded. "Okay."

Vic smiled. "Good. So we good?"

The officer hesitantly nodded. "Yeah. Thanks, sir."

"Welcome. Have a nice night." Vic said before closing the door.

"Vic, what are we gonna do?" Mike asked shakily. Vic cupped both his cheeks and kissed his lips.

"It's okay baby. We're leaving, okay? We're going to go far away from here. We'll be together forever. Nothing is breaking us apart. Now, we need to hurry and pack okay? Let's go."

Mike nodded and hugged his brother tightly. "Okay."
