Turns out, all Travis wanted to show me was a limited edition nendoroid of one of the characters in Haikyuu, Kenma. We were squealing in excitement as we bought the nendoroid. Yes, we are a Haikyuu fan. Got a problem?

Anyway, now I have a major problem. I bought the nendoroid, but as you can guess, it was hella expensive. Like just a small figurine for $315.06?! [i don't know the exact price but it says in Amazon, so i followed that]. I'm actually saving my money but after that I'm now broke as ever. I sighed as I sulk while holding my credit card. "This is the worst..." I muttered while continuing sulking.

Travis laughed as he slap my back, which made me squeal. I turn my head around immediately to glare at him. He holds his hands in a surrender position while still smiling. "Hey! No need to be all gloomy about it! Atleast now we have Kenma nendoroid!" I continued pouting since I knew he was right. Travis wrapped his arm around my shoulder as he brings me closer to him. I sighed as I smiled from his sidehug.

I pursued my lips once I noticed the sun setting on the horizon. Normally it would give me a calm and relaxing feeling whenever it sets. But this time, I dreaded it. I still don't know if I should follow that anonymously send message. "Should I follow it? But what if I get kidnap? What if I die—? Oh wait... I'm already dead." I debated in my mind. I sighed when I realized that this was getting me nowhere.

I thought I was acting normal but I guess not. Someone noticed me acting strange. While walking back to our rented house, they slow down their walking to match my slow pace. I didn't notice them until I heard them coughing. I whip my head to my left to see a concerned Katelyn. She looks at me with worried eyes. "Are you okay, Aph? You've acting weird.."

I mentally panic as I frantically wave my hands in front of me while still facing Katelyn and walking forward. "N-No! I'm fine!" Katelyn narrow her eyes at me, slightly glaring at me, which made me pale. "You're clearly not fine. C'mon, you can tell me anything. Afterall, aren't we already sisters? Quite literally." Katelyn snickered at the end as I nervously chuckled.

What she said is correct. Ever since my mother, Sylvanna, married Katelyn's father, Eric. I'm now included in their family. Though I'm much closer with Kacey and Katelyn, the others doesn't really appeal to me much.

"I know.. I'm just tired. That's all.." I tried reassuring her by offering her a (strained) smile. Katelyn raise a brow but decided to let it go. She sighed as she placed a hand on my shoulder, which made me flinch. She quickly retreated her hand from surprise before settling with eye to eye contact with me. "Aph. You know you can tell me anything. When I mean by anything, anything. Don't be afraid to tell me." Katelyn said while smiling softly.

I rub my arm as I nodded my head while smiling a bit. I didn't mean to flinch, but she did that so suddenly that it made me remember him. Katelyn sense that I don't want her to question my sudden fright. She trusted me so much that it made me feel guilty for hiding such a big secret from her. But its for the best. No one needs to know that I'm dead and now a soul walking around like I'm still alive. I think I would call myself a zombie..

I shake my head a bit while slapping my cheeks lightly. I'm getting sidetracked, again. I took a deep breath and sighed. I guess I don't have much of a choice when my curiosity is growing... curse that "curiosity kills a cat" saying..

It was already near midnight, which made me gulp. Everyone is asleep by now, save for those insomniac people (Zane). I can escape more easily now that almost everyone is asleep. I wore a simple black hoodie and black shorts as I contemplated on going through the window or door. "Hmm.. the window seems tempting. I can be like a ninja! The door though.. sounds boring. Window it is!" I decided mentally while opening the window.

I shivered a bit when a gush of cold wind blew inside the room. How was it so cold in an island? I have no idea. I quickly climb outside of the window and slowly pull it down but not completely. After all, I still need it to get back to my room. I look down to see the ground below. By how far it is, it is possible that a human can break their leg by jumping. But I'm no ordinary human, but it doesn't mean I don't feel the pain.

I shrug as I decided to wing it and jumped. It felt so right with the wind hitting my face. I thought I had the landing okay but guess not. Instead of gracefully landing on the ground, I instead splattered on the ground with my face hitting the hard ground. I winced at the sudden pain as I shakily stood up.

"Well.. that went... well." I mumbled as I staggered a bit, trying to maintain my balance. Once I manage to stand with two feet, I dusted myself a bit before proceeding to go to the set location. While walking worrisome thoughts filled my head, which made me more anxious than ever.

I arrived at the beach, where the location was, as I looked around. I couldn't find anyone in the beach, which surprised me because sometimes there were people still here in the beach even though its midnight. Guess not today.. I shrugged it off. "Everyone's probably tired." I thought as I look out into the dark blue sea.

I was so deep in thought that I didn't hear set of footsteps coming from behind me. My amber eyes widened in surprise, a cold shiver went through my spine and my heart thump loudly in my chest. That voice... it couldn't be..

"Aph?"
