Hey.. about your book/magazine “rapist - the only reason for a rape”
I wish you all the best and I must say.. you’re taking an amazing step,The problem of rape/assault has reached such a complex and huge level in our country that it’ll be a hell of a long way, dealing with it.
The thing is... most of the girls don’t even realise that they have been sexually assaulted or something “bad” has happened to them which no one has the right to do without their consent...
And till the time they realise that something DID happen to them.. the thought is set in their mind that telling this to their parents will make their parents keep them at home coz that’s where she’ll be safe.
The parents will just want to keep their daughters safe inside locked in a house, without realising that they are taking away their basic right to freedom.
And there the girl has to decide between her freedom and justice... where most of the girls pick freedom and suffer alone silently.Well.. the truth is, in some cases even a house.. the “home” where they are assumed to be the safest, is the very place they are assaulted every day.The reason they don’t realise the assault sooner because all of this is too normalised...
male staring at women’s breasts/butt,
random guys calling them by different names (I hope you understand what I mean), boyfriends forcing their girlfriends to be physical, a male stalking/following a girl everywhere just to convince her to be with them, etc. We ignore these things because the women in India think that these are LITTLE things and we should ignore them for the best or avoid any “scenes”...
