"Don't go out to far, stay where I can see you!" My grandma called out from her rocking chair to my little brother who was playing some game he had invented in the woods by our house.

I was sitting next to an old oak tree texting some of my friends when I heard her call him again.

"Harrison?" Her old voice croaked looking around towards the woods worriedly.

Both of our parents had died last year from a house fire. Me and Harrison weren't home at the time. Now, we lived with our grandma.

"Samantha, go find your brother. I don't like him being in those woods." She said looking over to me.

"Why, it's not like he's gonna get eaten by wolves." I said while still looking down at my phone.

"There are worse things besides wolves in those woods." She said with an almost shaky voice.

"Whatever fine" I said while using the tree to help me stand up.

Where did he run off to now. Great.

I walked into the woods calling out for him.

Birds and squirrels played all around in the trees next to me.

"Sammy!" I heard Harrison call me from the distance. He sounded almost scared. Though he is scared of pretty much everything, he probably saw a rabbit or something.

"Where are you? You know grandma doesn't like when you go deep into the woods alone." I shouted back but no response.

As I walked closer to where I heard him a second ago, I couldn't hear anymore birds or squirrels.

It was quiet. Almost too quiet.

"Alright Harrison, enough games! Come out!" I yelled looking all around. Something felt off and I had a bad feeling.

"Sammy!" I finally heard him call again. I ran towards where he had called me and came upon what looked like an old rusty shed or something.

"Harrison?" I called walking towards it.

I screamed as I got to the rusted door when a bird flew out right in my face.

"Seriously!" I yelled at it as it flew away.

"Harrison, I swear if you're in here.." I said while pulling open the creaking door.

It was completely dark in there and I couldn't see anything. I felt around for a light switch or flashlight to be able to see but I tripped over something.

"Sammy.." I heard my little brother whisper.

"Wha-" I began to say but I heard my name being yelled again in the distance.

It was Harrison's voice.

So who was this that just whispered my name beside me..

Then the old creaky door slammed shut.

I got up and ran towards it desperately trying to open it. I cut my arm on the rusted side of it as I finally pulled it open.

Sprinting out I saw Harrison and ran pulling him back home.

We saw grandma standing on the porch looking out at the woods.

"They're coming." She said.
