Chapter 22: The Next Step

A/N: So I have a new writing idea for Richelle that I kinda want to explore, but i need a pairing for her. Would you guys prefer to see Noah or Ozzy with her? If you guys prefer Ozzy though he'll have to make an appearance earlier in season 5 though so the story will be less based off the original plot. Please vote in the comments and tell me what yall think :)

On with the chapter...

Emily:

It's the last day here at Dancemania. I've sent all the dancers to go have some fun amongst themselves before packing and leaving. I've already told Michelle everything about the negotiated contract with Dancemania, and she agreed. J cruise are all joining us on the tour, and we'll be meeting with them soon in Toronto.

Before we leave, I want to talk to Noah and Richelle. Michelle and I have something to ask them. Their company has already agreed, so we just need their consent.

"Hey Noah, Richelle. Do you guys have a minute?"

"Sure. But our flights are earlier than yours so we don't have long."

Heathcliff:

Soon, we're on the flight back home. Planes make me a bit nervous, but it's alright with a troupe around distracting me. We play some truth or dare, would you rather, and we're so loud that we actually get told off by one of the flight attendants and Emily. Whoops.

It's late when we get back, so we head home and rest. My family greet me excitedly, and I tell them all about how fun Dancemania was. But no spoilers about the events, cause we're all going to watch the season when it gets released next month.

Michelle:

I'm in studio a with Emily, Richelle and Noah. We're all earlier than the dancers, so we can tell them more about the tour. We hear voices, so I usher Noah and Richelle into the nearest costume closet, as the dancers file in.

"Hey everyone!" I greet them.

"Emily! Michelle!"

"So. You all know why we're here."

"For the tour, right? We've all talked with our families about our decisions last night." Piper asks.

"Yep. So everyone who wants to go on tour, meet our new choreographers!" Richelle and Noah pop out of the costume closet.

"Richelle and Noah here will be representing their company for choreography, since they did so well with the Dancemania pieces." I tell the dancers, who get really excited.

"So. Who's going to be coming?"

"Me!" Almost all the dancers chorus. Except for Ozzy.

Ozzy:

I've decided that my schooling is more important than the tour. I'm one of the younger dancers on the troupe, about the same age as Heath. But Heath does online school, so the tour won't affect him. If his parents consent, he can go without problems.

"I have school to focus on, and I can't leave now." I tell everyone.

"I talked with Izzy about it, and she suggested that I stay here at the next step to mentor b troupe at nationals."

Hopefully this suggestion goes well. Or else I won't be able to dance anywhere. Not at the next step or on tour. And I really don't want that to be the case.

Emily:

Since Ozzy won't be going on tour, he's the only a troupe dancer not doing so. And b troupe only have ten members, so they might need an alternate. This actually works in our favour.
