I felt someone shake me awake from wherever I was and felt a sharp pain in my head when I sat up.

"Take these and head down to the arena, the finalists are being announced." Recovery Girl said, handing me an Advil.

I thanked her and swallowed it dry. I ran down the many stairs and halls and finally reached the arena. I stood next to Todoroki who looked a little less calm than usual.

I'll ask him later.

"All right, the five teams that I mentioned will now be moving onto the next rou-"

"WAIT!" shouted a voice.

We turned around and saw the tail boy, Ojiro, had his hand raised.

"I want to forfeit," he said calmly.

Midoriya went into a panic saying that this was a thing that happened once a year.

"I don't remember anything except for the beginning of the Cavalry Battle and the end, I can't move on my pride won't let me." He said in a harsh tone.

He glared at Toshi, so that's how your quirk works, I thought to myself.

I knew he could brainwash others by them answering his statements or questions but I didn't know they forget everything in between.

"Me too!" shouted an oddly cute chubby boy from 1-B.

Midnight let out many high pitched giggles and accepted their withdrawal. "Now we need 1 person from the 6th highest placing team, team Tetsutetsu! Who do you choose to let move forward?"

After a minute of talking, the silver-haired boy was crying and bowing to his teammates vigorously. The team had all agreed to let him pass.

"All right, now that that's settled, let's move onto the final round. Which is..?" she lashed her whip at the screen as it spun.

"A BATTLE ROYAL!!" she shouted.

"The rules are simple, you must either somehow make your opponent immobile or push em out of bounds. The rounds will be chosen at random by lots!"

We each went up and chose our letter, I got a C. The screen suddenly changed and projected our names and our opponents.

Round 1. Midoriya vs. Shinso

Round 2. Todoroki vs. Sero

Round 3. Kaminari vs. Kozu

Round 4. Hatsume vs. Iida

Round 5. Aoyama vs. Mina

Round 6. Tokoyami vs. Yaoyorozu

Round 7. Kirishima vs. Tetsutetsu

Round 8. Uraraka vs. Bakugo

"The fights will begin in 15 minutes, giving the first round contestants time to think of a plan." Midnight said.

Cemontos walked onto the battlefield, "I will be here to make sure nothing gets out of hand."

I heard Ojiro saying he wanted to talk to Midoriya in private about my brother. Now, I'm not gonna snitch but I will talk to Toshi.

"Toshi!" I shouted on the way out of the arena.

He turned around and smirked, "I'm not going easy on your classmate if that's what you want to tell me."
