We sit here today scared to speak out loud,
To the system that we found,
A system which is meant to serve justice,
But fails to do so,
"Police officers take risks and suffer inconveniences to protect the lives, defend civil liberties, secure the safety of fellow citizens,"
I guess this doesn't matter,
It seems the blacker you are,
The more you seem like an attakcer.
Through time I have witnessed death because of skin colour,
Imagine a mother losing her son because her son couldn't breathe,
Picture a police officer with is hand wrapped around the neck of another, even though his defenceless,
Apparently he was a threat,
A threat to what breathing, living,I'll or even worse dieing,
The family told that he was a threat to the human RACE,
Now it's ironic how the word race was applied because no officer he wasn't a threat to the human race, that was said because he wasn't the same race as the officer,
I stand hear today, fearless, full of courage and ready to fight,
For what is right,
And if you are reading this today and not afraid,
Let your voice be heard and speak what you believe in,
Cause your voice matters,
Many are dieing,
With families left crying,
No questioned answered,

Voice Revaluation
