[Chapter]: Three

i know the song isn't related to karlnap, well the characters.. but the song does if you think about it!

3rd person pov.
Karl watched as Sapnap pulled his chair infront of Karl's desk and sat down. He stared at Sapnap, having no idea why. 

"Like what you see?" Sapnap grinned showing some teeth. 

Karl's cheeks turned pink, he huffs. "No, I-I was waiting for you to say something." he stammered, puffing his cheeks.

"Aw okay, bummer." Sapnap grinned wider and booped his nose. Karl blinked and touched his nose confused, he shrugged it off.

"Okay Sap, i was thinking we should present this way," Karl pointed at a default theme. 

"Alright, but what if we switch this up-"

They worked on the project for a while.

"Okay class, your time to work on this project during class is done since the bell is going to ring. However, you can work together on it outside of school." The teacher said as she made her way to her desk.

Karl turned to Sapnap. "Are you free afterschool? So we can work on the project." He tilted his head questionably. 

Sapnap mentally cringed "Shit- No Sorry. I have Violin classes today." Karl just nodded sliding a note to Sapnap. 

He said "Here, it's my number. Text me so we can arrange when you have time."

And just like that the bell rung.
Karl stood up grabbing his things and turned to Sapnap about to say goodbye when Sapnap beat him to it "Catch you later Jacobs." he grinned watching Karl go red. 

"Yeah sure," Karl speed walked out of the class just to bump into Chris who was already waiting for him.

Sapnap's Pov:

After Karl left I put my chair back to its respective desk, I gather my things and was about to walk out when I saw Karl and another guy, Chris. 

I've seen Chris around the school, sure. But I've never had a full on conversation with him. 

I watched as Karl hugged Chris, which he returned. They pulled apart, starting to walk away with Chris having his arm around Karl's shoulders.

I felt a ping of pain in my chest.

Why am I jealous? I know nothings going on between them, Right? Why do I care? I just met Karl today. But it still annoyed me.

I started walking the opposite direction they were walking. I looked down at the note Karl gave me. It had his number on it along with a 'don't lose it!' accompanied with a smiley face next to it. I smiled slightly and shoved it in my pocket.

Skipping violin class once won't hurt.
