Embarrassing dreams and almost kisses

AURORA'S POV

"I love you too Zane, and no matter what we'll get through this. I'm here for you i can only imagine what it feels like to loose your wife and baby". I looked in Zane's eyes and saw nothing but pain, and dare i say another emotion, maybe love? Before i realized what was happening we were leaning in and our lips were just inches apart. I stopped. What was i doing Zane just lost his wife and first child and here i am about to kiss him. I looked between Zane's eyes and lips and did the thing that i know i would regret later. I kissed him. As our lips touched the sparks flew and from that point i was lost. Lost in the world of Zane's lips. Too lost to hear the low banging that was coming from somewhere. I moaned as Zane's lips left mine and started trailing light kisses down my neck. Soon the low banging came to hard pounding and i couldn't help but open my eyes.

I open my eyes and look around confused. The sun is streaming down on my face through the crack in my curtains. I turn to see that my alarm clock reads 1:30 in the afternoon. The banging on my door gets harder so i get up and answer it to see my best friend Zane smirking and his twin sister Amanda scowling in my direction. Amanda doesn't spare me a second glance and just barges in my room and plops on my bed. Zane on the other hand strolls in casually still with that stupid smirk on his face. Confused I close my room door and take a seat on the bed in between Zane and Amanda. Amanda rubs her temples and lets out a breathe. " You know", she starts out , "the rooms on this floor aren't soundproof right". Confused i shook my head encouraging her to explain. Zane chuckles and doesn't say anything. " And you also know that my room is right beside yours?" she continued. Again i nodded my head yes. I looked to Zane for some type of help because at the moment he looked amused . "Come on A just tell me! Stop telling me things i already know!" I told her frustrated." FINE YOU WANNA KNOW WHY I WAS BANGING ON YOU DOOR FOR A FRICKING HOUR!" she yelled. " I was woken up earlier than i would have liked because you were in here moaning his name. She finished as she pointed to Zane. Suddenly my face turned a deep scarlet as i remembered the dream that i had this morning. Zane slung his arm around my shoulder. A smirk had returned to his face, " Awww it's okay Rora, there's a lot of girls here who have dreams like that of me. He said ruffling my already messy bed hair. There was only one thing i could do: deny it all. " I wasn't having a dream like.", again my face erupted into a bright red, " like that". Lame i know but that was the only thing i could think of at the moment. "Aww look at that A, Our little Aurora is blushing." Zane said with a big smile. "Whatever I'm going to get something to eat" as i pushed Zane off my bed. I walked down the stairs and and headed to the kitchen with Zane and Amanda in tow. As i entered the dining room almost all the pack was sitting down eating lunch. As i took my seat i saw a couple of people grin in me and Zane's direction. I also got a few winks and some raised eyebrows. I looked at Zane who once again had that smirk on his face. As we sat down i leaned over to Amanda and asked, " when you say i was loud exactly how loud was i?". She just looked at me sympathetic and whispered back, " the whole floor heard". My face went a light pink and for the rest of the meal i kept my head down too embarrassed to look up. As people started to finish up i excused myself and offered to wash the dishes. I headed to the kitchen and started on the dishes that were already on the sink. I had a nice cyle going when i felt someone come beside me and start rinsing the dishes for me . I looked to my right and saw that it was Zane. " If you came to tease me then you can -" I started but Zane cut me off. " I didn't come to tease you Rora. I just came to help you with the dishes and talk." he stated as he took the plate i had finished washing and started rinsing it. " why?" I asked. suspicious of his real intentions. " Isn't that what friends are for" he asked as he took another dish from my hand. I didn't respond and just continued washing the dishes. We talked about anything and everything as usual until i got bored and put bubbles from the dishwater on his hair. I laughed unitl i cried and said, " you hahah look so hahahah old hahahah and, and let me hahaha tell you that you hahaha do not look hahah good." He narrowed his eyes at me then smiled. He smiled a smile that i didn't like. Scared I took off but he was too fast and threw a huge handful of bubbles at my face. Now it was his turn to laugh. " wow rora hahahha you look hahahhah good with a hahahhaha beard hahah you should stop hahahha shaving yours hahhah off every hahah morning." And that was how our bubble war began we were running around the kitchen slipping an sliding with all the soap on the floor. I had put bubbles in the back of Zane's shirt and was turning to run away when i slipped. I closed my eyes waiting for the impact of the floor but it never came. I opened my eyes to see Zane had caught me. I looked up and our lips were just inches apart. I immediately thought back to my dream from this moring and i blushed. i put my head down hoping that he wouldn't see it but he lifted my chin with his pointer finger. " Don't put your head down, i think its cute when you blush" Zane said while looking into my eyes which sent another round of blush to my face. As we looked into each others eyes our lips got closer an dcloser and as we were about to kiss when the door to the kitchen swung open and Miranda walked in. "Oh my gosh i'm so sorry i didn't know that you guys were in here doing ummm... i'll just go." She said as she turned and left. I jumped away from Zane and we cleaned up the mess we had made. As soon as we were finished i quickly hurried to my room thinking about me and zane's almost kiss and miranda's face when she walked in on us. She looked hurt. She didn't like him did she ?
