Chapter 16

*2 months later*

It has been two months and today the babies are being released, Dad should be here any minute now to pick us up. 

I heard the door open, I looked and saw Andy.  "Are they mine?" he asked.

"Andy I do not care who's they are, no man that raped me will be their father, so just go" I said looking away, I heard him sigh and walked away.  

"Ready?" Dad asked walking in with two car seats.

"Yes we are" I smiled putting them both in their car seats.

I picked up their car seats and walked out with Dad.

"Ready to see their room, that Annabelle designed?" he asked.

"Can't wait" I smiled and put the twins in the car.

When we arrived at his house, Annabelle showed me their room, it was gorgeous, she did a fabulous job.

"Oh my goodness, thank you thank you thank you" I said setting the twins car seats down and hugging her.

"You get settled in, I also bought them some outfits, I hope you don't mind" Annabelle said.

"No I don't mind at all thank you" I smiled and she walked out.

I set Kylie in her crib and then I put Kayla in her crib.  I grabbed the baby monitor and walked downstairs.

"MIA" Nate and Annah ran up to me.  I smiled and picked them both up.

"What is it?" I asked.

"We wanna go to the park" Annah winned.

"I'm sorry babies I don't think I can take my babies out" I said.

"Uhm actually you can, I talked to the doctor and he said that the reason they waited so long, was so the heart and lungs, and kindneys were healthy" Dad explained, I nodded.

"Well I'll go get the stroller and we'll go" I said.

"YAY" they cheered and I set them down. I grabbed the stroller and set it at the bottom of the stairs, I walked up to the twins room and picked them up, I walked downstairs and set them in the stroller, I walked back upstairs and grabbed their diaper bag.  I walked back downstairs.

"Okay Annah, Nate come on" they ran up to me and I smiled.

"Can I come?" Annabelle asked.

"Of course" I smiled.

We walked out of the house and all the way to the park.  I saw all the guys there, including Mya, Andy, Parker, Hannah, Brooke, and Jake.  Haylee and Kaylee were also here.

Nate and Annah ran off and Matthew walked up to me.

"I see you came out" he smiled kissing my lips.

"I guess I did" I smiled.

"When are you going back to school?" he asked.

"Tomorrow, Dad and Brooke told me I had to go back or I would fail.  So yeah I have to" I said.

"It'll be okay" he said.

"I'm just worried ya know" I said.

"Yeah I understand" Matthew said.

I heard a baby cry, I looked down and saw Kayla and Kylie both crying.  

I went over to the park bench and sat down.

"Matthew I have two babies now, I won't have time for you I'm sorry but I think we should see other people" I said.

"NO I only want you" he said.

"I'm sorry, Matthew it's for the best" I said picking Kylie up. 

"I can not believe you, this is not the Mia I fell in love with" Matthew stormed off.

 I sighed and picked Kayla up also, they looked up at me and stopped crying.  They just wanted their mama.  I smiled down at them.

I felt someone sit down beside me, I looked and saw Parker.

"Could they be mine?" he asked.

"Yes they could be" I sighed.

"Look I am really sorry" he said.

"It's fine" I said.

"What?" he asked.

"It's fine now leave" I said.  I looked up and saw Parker walk away.  I looked down to see my babies peacefully asleep.  I smiled and set them back in their stroller.

"Annabelle I think I'm going to go home" I said.

"Okay" she smiled.

"Is everything okay?" Mya asked.

"Me and Matthew just broke up, so no everything is not okay" I said walking past her and back to my Dad's house.

I walked inside and stopped at the stairs, I took the twins out of their stroller and walked them to their room, I laid them in their cribs and grabbed the baby monitor.

I walked out of their room, closing the door after me.  I saw Brooke in the hallway.  "Is everything alirght?" she asked.

"No I just broke up with Matthew" I said crying, she ran up and wrapped her arms around me.

"Why?" she asked.

"I just had two babies, he deserves someone who can spend more time with him" I cried.

"Shhh, you did the right thing it'll get better" she cooed.

"I don't think it will, Brooke Matthew and I have been friends since we were two and I probably just ruined our friendship" I said.

"If he's a true friend, then he'll still be your best friend no matter what" Brooke said.

"I guess we'll find out tomorrow" I sighed pulling away and wiping away my tears.

"I need some rest, those babies will probably be keeping me up all night and I have school tomorrow" I sighed walking into my room.

I sat on my bed and just stared out my window, why did I break up with him?  Maybe it could have worked, no it wouldn't, I have two two months old and they are way more important than any boyfriend.  But I just lost the person who meant the most to me and nothing will fix that.     

I laid down and then I forgot to turn off the light, so I stood up and turned the light, I laid back down.  As I was almost asleep I heard a baby cry through the monitor.  You have got to be kidding me!  This is how my whole night went.
