I silently rejoice on the inside, Aaron's finally letting me do something! I'll be able to get us out of here. I guard walks by our cell and I glare at him. Aaron elbows me and gives me a "Don't look at him like that!" look. I roll my eyes.
"So here's the plan, we'll go in the day, when there's lots of people around, then we'll climb up the walls and sneak out."
He nods though I can tell he doesn't think this will work. I hear a guard say, "ANI WING! Please come with me."
Chains clamp against my wrists and I'm lead into a room, the man is back. "Ani, welcome back, I see it fit that I should tell you my name, I am Captain Thomas Ksani. Now, this may hurt a bit." He smirks as a needle penetrates my skin and I scream in pain, tears rolling down my cheeks. The Captain hits me with the butt of his gun, "Show weakness, and that happens."
I try to hold in my screams but the tears keep coming, this isn't what I wanted, it never was what is Aaron going to do?
"Wonderful, that should be enough for today Ms. Wing, would you like to see Laurnes?" I nod painfully and they throw me in the room next to the one I was in before, Laurnes comes at my side.
"A-ani are you okay?" I don't respond I just hug him and start crying, what are they going to do to Aaron? He rubs my back and I wince.
"Time's up."
I am pulled back up and thrown into the cell, my brown hair now a deep red with blood. I give a weak smile to Aaron, "Hi..." I say my voice nearly a whisper. It was never meant to be like this! I wanted to live a normal life, why did this all have to happen to me? He hugs me tightly with tears in his eyes as I wince a bit, I need to show him that I can be strong too. What are they doing to Laurens? What will they do to Aaron?
