4. Last Day

"We didn't know we were making memories, we were just having fun."

Today was the Last day of school in Falmont High in Maine for Alexis. Because tomorrow she will be packing everything and having everything shipped off over to California.

Mrs. Campbell and Mr. Garland decided that they are going to leave tomorrow so they can have everything situated and by the time the Ortiz family get to California all there stuff will arrive with them as well.

Alexis never knew this day she would be moving to California to live her dream of acting in L.A in front of a camera would come any faster than expected.

She was surprised she was actually chosen to be invited to coming to L.A from an acting agent and a full producer/writer.

Alexis didn't even have to audition for this big role that he couldn't find anyone as talented as she was for this big hole.

Before Mr. Garland had left he gave Alexis and extra copy of her role she accepted so she could practice her new lines and get them memorized before starting the whole movie.

Alexis didn't think she was that good of an actress but her family and friends thought otherwise. She didn't think much things before she never felt she was much loved, or appreciated from being someone's friend, she thought she wasn't attractive enough, or she thought she needed to be underweight.

So it surprised her that someone actually wanted to be to be her acting agent and someone wanted to make her a star for being in their big new movie coming up.

Walking arriving to school Alexis didn't know how fast news spread when she was walking down the hallways of her school to get to her locker a lot of people that didn't really talk to her were congratulating her for her getting a lead of a movie and for full-filling her dream.

After hearing about her making her dream come true a few girls envied Alexis because she was dreaming big and her dreams were actually coming true so when she walked past the girls, they would either roll their eyes at her or scoff of annoyance.

But that didn't bother Alexis what bothered her the most was her missing her friends when she moved to California. She thought. "Would they still wanna be my friends if I became big off this show?" "Would they still talk to me or just drop me like everyone else would?" "Would I meet new people in California?" "What if I don't make any friends there and they are either all snobby and selfish?" She kept having so many questions run through her head she couldn't control half of them.

She stopped worrying when she felt someone jump on her back catching her by surprise. Turns out it was her best friend Stella.

"Hey, today's your last day here! Ain't it exciting?" Stella questioned putting an arm over Alexis's shoulders walking with her to her locker.

"Eh, I guess so but I'm really nervous. And I've never been this nervous over anything!" Alexis stated opening up her locker after they got to their destination.

"Why are you so nervous this is a big deal! I'm sure you won't mess up a line or two." Stella commented looking over at her trying not to make her more nervous that she already is. "And besides you have me to talk to any time if you feel like no ones listening to you." She continued smiling over at the dark haired girl who was getting her books out of her locker. "And, oh, we can't forget about Mr. Jordan Reed can't we?" Alexis smile was turned to a frown after hearing her now ex's name.
