KILLUA'S POV

no way..

my jaw had dropped straight to the floor.

why did he have to come HERE?! TO THIS SCHOOL?

i mumbled under my breath, "there are plenty of other great nen schools nearby."

he was stepping out of the vehicle as students crowded him. he somehow shoved his way through, suddenly spotting me.

i was standing there still in shock; filled with despair.

"killua!" he waved his hand and ran to me. i didn't even know how to react to this.

"uh.. h-hey gon" i spoke awkwardly.

the student next to me lifted his eyebrows, "you know him kill?"

sadly, yes.

i nodded my head slightly.

he was just standing there smiling oh so brightly at me. all i could do was smile back at him.

it was getting awkward so i spoke.

"so .. what are you doing here ?" i asked as i somewhat crossed my arms. he placed his hands on both sides of his hips and shouted "i can attend school too you know."

"but why this school, it's pretty lame you know?" i questioned gon.

"because you- " i cut gon off before he could finish his sentence. i didn't want anyone to know we have close interactions together, especially since he's a maid in my own household.

i pulled him away from the crowd of people to speak with him.

i quietly mumbled my words with a harsh tone, "you can't let anyone know that we have close relations dude. you'll seriously embarrass me and even yourself if that gets out."

another frown engulfed his face but he quickly tried to pull himself back up. "i totally understand killua! you have my word," he spoke with a smile.

as the bell had rung i mentioned one more thing, "please don't interact with me much here either because that will surely draw attention to us."

he ran off with a smile to his first class shouting and waving, "okay sure, bye!"

ugh, this boy.

-

soon enough it was lunch.

i didn't really have any friends, more so just classmates who i don't really like hanging out with.

i already knew he would ignore what i said earlier so i decided not to eat lunch at school today. i sat in the grass field on my phone by myself. it felt quite tranquil to be away from everyone.

as i looked up from my phone i could see gon in the distance. he was already clicking with so many people here. i mean, his personality is just bursting with energy so it's quite reasonable.

from afar i could see the group showing off their nen skills to each other. i kept staring because i was curious about gon's nen abilities, though i never would personally ask him about it.

as i suspected, he was an enhancer.

seeing him put a smile on my face. it just made me fairly happy.

wait no, stop.

i quickly stopped smiling after i realized why i was smiling.

i looked back down at my phone until lunch was over.

-

when school ended i called for my butler who was waiting in the vehicle up ahead.

as i opened the door his bright face looked up at me.

oh god.

i sat down and buckled up. "since we're in private i can talk to you right?" gon asked with a big grin on his face.

i sighed and responded, "i guess it's fine."

"today was amazing killua, i made so many new friends and all the teacher were really nice! oh i even .."

his voice began to fade in the back of my head as he rambled on while i stared out the window.

not him, why him!

i started to doze off and soon fell asleep in the car.

** a/n : aaah, sorry i hadn't updated in so long. i honestly had no ideas for this chapter so i thought it'd be great to show some of killua's personality and opinions, specifically towards gon. i know it doesn't really move the story along much but i literally had no clue what to write. anyways, thank you for all the support whaat ?! i didn't think you guys would like this fanfic so much but i truly appreciate you all !
