"So... you wanna meet him?" He asks, wiggling his eyebrows.
'Ugh, this again...?' You think, crossing your arms and leaning further into the couch you were both sharing. Daniel had been attempting to match you up with his big brother for the past few months. "I- I dunno..."
"Pleeeeeeaaaseeee??" He whined, staring at you with those big brown eyes. He knew you couldn't say no to him when he did that, so when you sighed in compliance he pat himself on the back, "Yeessss!"
"If we're doing this, then we're doing it my way though," you say, picking up a notepad and a pen from the table beside you. He looked at you curiously, and you pushed him away playfully, "I'll write a letter to him, because you know I'm no good with my words."
Nodding, he stood up, "Sounds good! I'm gonna go to the bathroom, start writing it right now, ma'am!" He giggled, running off.
You pull the cap off the pen with your teeth and think over the words you want to write down.

Daniel has attempted to set us both up together. You don't know me, but you may know about me? I know about you. He loves you a lot.

You shake your head and tear the page out of the book, crumpling it up. You eye the fireplace and throw it into it, watching as it melted under the flames.
"Y/N!" The object of your affections peeks through the doorway with a grin, "Are you finished?"
"...No," you say, standing up, "Actually, I think I'll talk to him."
