Chapter 8:

Mika's PoV:
I put my finger on the print and it saved it .I opened it up and found books already there ,what a school.

"Zoe Carter please report to the Chancellor's office and Mika too ,"I heard the speakers in the hall.

I followed suit ,people were already murmuring.What was wrong ?.
I arrived at the office and then knocked .

"Come in Mika ,"the principal said .

"What she doing here?"

"Relax Zoe this both concern you two ,"

"What is it then ,"

"I have some preety bad news ,"

"What's wrong ?"

"Shut up !what's wrong ?"

"Well,your dad and Ashleigh got into a car accident,ash didn't survive,"

The secretary jumped in the office..just after the principal finished .

"Mam"

"Not now , ok"

"You saying Ash is dead are you crazy ?no...no....no...ash ash is fine ,"

"Please calm ....d.."

"Mam the mic is still on ,"

"Wait what !oh shit am so sorry,"

Now the whole school knew what was going on .

"Zoe am so sorry ,"

"Don't touch me Mika don't ,"

"An so sorry Zoe Ash was one of our best students it's a shame the world had to loose such an innovative kid,"

"Now you all shut up !my fucking sister is dead ,what is fucking happening,"

"Am so sorry,"

She was crying in the seat her head on the Chancellor's desk,she was breathing so hard you could feel her pain.She put her head back up and tried to be brave again but she then broke down,she trashed the whole office saying words that were offensive to the chancellor ,to the whole school, to herself.The chancellor and I held her and kept her at one place and by that time Jamal and Dave were already here.
Their eyes red ,from the holding back there tears .They took Zoe who was now half naked covered here with the curtains from the office .I took her heels and Jamal helped save Carey Zoe out if the office to the car .Everyone was out looking at us exiting the school with tears on our faces.Their freinds took their cars and followed us out of school.I was in the back seat with Zoe and my chest breathing out loudly in pain.Her black eye shadow was all over her face and on my white jumpsuit.
Dave was just crying his head held up in shock .His tears kept flowing and flowing out ,his heart was bleeding I could feel it .I took my hand and squized it to the side of Dave's seat and we held hands ,well he held mine real tight . Jamal's eyes just got red and more red as he kept driving in maximum speed to the hospital.

"Dude you going to kill us ,"

"I don't care mahn maybe that way we can be with ash I don't know ,"

"Look Jamal we have each other now please,maybe just slow down,"

"Oh just shut up Dave ,"

I decided to cut in .

"Look arguing right now is not healthy for all of us ,let him drive as he wants he kills us it's his fault he will leave with that guilt himself,"

Silence prevailed in the car I geuse what I said worked .
Jamal slowed down and we headed to the hospital.

"Zoe .....Zoe......Zoe ...I think she's unconscious we gotta hurry up she should see a doctor,"

Dave turned to us and tried tapping her face several times .

"Zoe ?Zoe?Zoe?.....dude she's right she's unconscious let's go let's go ,"

After a few minutes in the highway Jamal pulled up at St.Avenue hospital and we hurriedly got out of the car .Dave ran to a button outside the door and after a few seconds nurses and a bed arrived at the door .Dave and I carried Zoe to the bed and she was hurriedly pushed to the ER . Jamal packed the car and we followed suit to the waiting area .My heart has never beat like this in years ,since my mom died .I took a seat and tried to get my heart slow .Dave was continuously pacing Infront of me ,I got up and got him seated ,he put his face on my lap and kept on crying and crying. Jamal lied on the wall on his back and his fist in his mouth.His tears were those little heavy painful ones ,I felt all their pain it's hard loosing someone you loved dearly .Jamal slowly slid down on the wall to the floor and cried in his arms .
Their freinds came and some got around Jamal giving him the moral support.
A brown girl came to me ,I think she was mad.

"Stand up bitch!"

"Why ?"

"Am his girl that's why now get the hell up,"

"Ok ok ,"

I tried waking up from Dave tight arms but as soon as I got untied he pushed me and tied himself again at my laps and continued crying on me .His girlfriend saw that and got jelly.She saw her freinds and got ashamed she then got to the other side and continuously rubbed his back .From her looks she wanted to choke me so hard but she couldn't, courtesy I geuss .Carter arrived with the body crew ,they got ash in the elevator and got down .Jamal and Dave ran to the closing elevator and tried to get through.

"Ash aaaaaash!"

I followed them to Carter .Their dad got them up and they hugged tightly together.
"Look boys look at me , everything is going to be fine aight?you gone be strong for Ash ok will get through this .....ash needs us strong ok ?now your mam fainted after the news let's go see her ,"

"Zoe too ,"

"Zoe ?omg let's go let's go ,"

They hurriedly walked through the crowd of the children's freinds recieving hugs as the went through.I tried passing through but Dave's girlfriend and their crew stopped me .

"Where do you think you are going,"

"To see Mam.Lorraine ,"

"Ha!Mam Lorraine since when she doesn't even know you ,"

"I got no time for this ok ,give me space I want to go see her,"

"No you are not family ok so just go back to the hole you came ......"

Dave cut her girlfriend off .

"Leave her alone Moana come Mika let's go ,"

"Dave dear am so sorry are you okay I heard ,"

Dave just ignored her and took my hand and we went through.

"You are family now let's go in they are both awake in that room ,"

We got in and found Zoe on her mom's bed ,both their eyes red from all the crying.Carter and Jamal were seated near them .
"Mika ,"

"Yes Mr .Carter am here am so sorry guys Receive my sincere condolences,"

"It's ok Mika we are all glad you are here
With us ,it's a wierd time you got with our family,"

"Oh no no it's fine don't apologize please,"

"Now that we are all here i,"

"Wait mam you mean Mika is family,"

"Dear give her a break ok ,She's now the sister you need ,"

Zoe got of the bed mad .
"Wait what you already replaced her ,mam even you?you'll never be like ash never!,"

She charged off the room Dave followed her out.

"Am sorry Mika,that's Zoe you'll have to get used to her ,"

"I don't have to ,"

"What are you saying,"

"I don't have to cause am leaving Mr.Carter  thanks for all you've did ,"
