You think he forgot your birthday-- Jimin

<jimin POV>

I woke up early and quickly got ready, trying not to make my beautiful girlfriend y/n to wake up.

After 2 days it was her birthday. So I thought on this birthday I would give her a big surprise and propose her for marriage.

I already discussed with the guys and for the past few days, I tried my hard to ignore y/n. So that I wouldn't open my mouth in front of her. I never keep secrets from y/n, because of which I'm acting very rudely with her. It hurts me to hurt her but this surprise is worth it.

I drove off to order the things for my proposal, leaving a message for y/n that I would be having dinners out today.

<y/n POV>

I woke up to the empty space beside me. It was another that day when jimin had left early and won't be coming before 12. Its been like this for the last week.

I didn't knew what went wrong between us. Every time I tried talking the problem out, he make some excuse and leave. He had became so distant.

I thought that maybe he's cheating but then shrug of the thought, since I knew he would never do something like that.

I got ready for my work. I was already feeling low for past few days. After work I took a small walk and had a coffee in a cafe which was near my home.

I looked at the date on my mobile. Its only 2 days in my birthday. I hope that jimin remembers that.

I reached home. The lights of living room were on, maybe he's home. I opened the door of our room and found him peacefully sleeping.

"Maybe he had a hard day" I thought to myself and closed the lights. I slept while cuddling jimin from back.

<Birthday eve>

There were only 3 hours left for my birthday. Today jimin didn't even uttered a single word related to it.

He only said "I have a long day today,so don't wait for me on dinner" before leaving for work.

I was so disappointed since I never thought he would forgot my special day. What if he has fallen out of love with me. Bad thoughts were making me depressed.

I grabbed my jacket and left the house to take some fresh air. I was walking by the lanes and saw a park. I went there and sat on the bench while looking at the couples smiling.

<Jimin POV>

I reached the home as I had everything arranged for her birthday. Now I just have to take y/n for a walk so that I could surprise her.

"Y/n " I called her name out but couldn't find her anywhere in the house. I got panicked and called her but she didn't picked up.

I hurriedly locked the house and drove off my car looking for y/n.

<Y/n POV>

I didn't realize that I was in the park for 2 hours without even informing jimin.

"He would be so worried" I thought and quickly took out my mobile to see 20 missed calls from jimin. I was about to call him when my mobile turned off.

"Ughh" I sighed and quickly stood up to go home. I was walking when I heard some voices from behind. I stopped and looked back to found three drunk boys making their way towards me.

I started to ran fast on the roads and a car speedily came in front of my eyes. I stumbled and fell down on the ground waiting for the impact but it stopped.

I looked up and found that car 1 inch away from me, when I heard my name. "Jimin?"

< Jimin POV>

I noticed that the girl on the ground was y/n.

"Jimin?" She said slowly as I pulled her up and engulfed her in a tight hug.

"What the hell were you doing in the middle of the road? I got so worried" I said as tears escaped her eyes.

My eyes fell on three drunk guys and I realized what was going on. I looked very dangerously at them that they ran away from there.

I calmed y/n down and we both sat in car.

<Y/n POV>

"Why would you go out at this hour without even informing?" Jimin asked concerned. I was already pissed at him so this triggered me.

"Why would care about me huh!! Enough ! You're behaving like shit jimin.. It's hurting me!" I yelled back at him, finally letting out my anger.

His face softens and he looked at me. He was about to say something but stopped and again looked at the road.
I rolled my eyes getting more hurt by his behavior.

He stopped the car in front of the beach. "Why are we here?" I asked him but he just ignored my question and got out. He opened my door And pulled me out.

"What the hell jimin? I want to go home!" I yelled at him and he picked me up bridal style and started walking.

I was continuously hitting his shoulder when I saw balloons and lights from afar.

The more closer we got the more I realized what was happening. I was speech less by the decoration.

"Happy birthday love" jimin softly said in my ear. I looked at him and he was already looking at me. That moment was so beautiful and he lightly pecked my lips.

He pulled me down and get on his knees. I was getting so impatient. He pulled out the box of ring.

"Y/n I love you so much and will always love you, protect you and care about you. I'm so sorry for ignoring and avoiding you and hurting you but I wanna give you this surprise on your birthday. I wanna ask you, Will you marry me and be my wife and spend the rest of your life with me?" He said cutely smiling at me.

Tears fell through my face and I nodded my head "yes,yes,yes!! I love you too" I said as I sat on my knees and hugged him tight.

He put the ring on my finger and came closer to kiss me when loud fireworks start with the excited screams of boys.

"Guys will you ever let us kiss?" Jimin asked them and we all laughed.
