Authors Note

There are a few things I want to inform you all on before you get into reading the book.
Obviously, I do not claim any of the characters mentioned in the book as my own. All rights and reserves belong to JK Rowling even though I do not like her. With that being said, I have slightly tweaked the events in the Harry Potter timeline to better suit the characters I've created.

For all those who dislike Severus Snape for reasons we can all probably guess, let me go ahead and encourage you to go read something else. I don't rewrite some of the horrible things Severus Snape did in the Harry Potter universe because I feel that it is good to have broken characters since most of us ourselves are quite broken. However, I do believe there were times JK Rowling did him dirty so I chose to omit them. I won't romanticize toxic relationships or mental illnesses either.

This is a slow burn type story so if you're looking for smut or intense romantic scenes within two chapters I must let you know it will not happen. I don't want to spoil anything because I think the suspense makes the reward far better, but just be aware that this is an incredibly slow-burn love story. I also am super uncomfy writing smut so I admire those of you who can. I'm really bad at rambling so I'm sure you'll discover that by Chapter 1. This is the first book of a series so get buckled up. We're going for a wild ride.

I hope that you all enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it. I plan to make multiple books following the storyline (and possibly a Marauder Era Series) so keep a lookout for updates on that.
