By lunchtime Diana and Snape were already making their way to Hogsmeade; just as Snape had said the night before. Diana had begun sneezing, clearly catching a cold from being out in the rain for so long. Snape pulled a Pepperup potion from his robes and handed it to Diana. She looked at his robes with fascination that he kept potions perhaps for every occasion on himself at all times. He noticed her staring and rolled his eyes.
"I knew you would be sneezing about the place today after rolling around in the cold rain and mud all night. Some of us are intelligent enough to think ahead." Snape said, annoyed by her fascination. Diana looked down at the bottle before finally taking it and hoping that he hadn't secretly tried to poison her.
When they arrived on High Street of Hogsmeade to enter Ollivander's wand shop in Hogsmeade they grew disappointed by the lack of information the wandkeeper could provide.
"I have never seen a wand like that here. There is certainly no record of it being purchased here. Perhaps the wizard who owns this wand got it from Diagon Alley. If it was anyone to identify the owner of the wand, it would be Garrick Ollivander himself." The associate explained after carefully inspecting it. Diana looked hopeless at Severus who thought quietly.
"I'm not going." He said coldly, noticing her staring at him once again. Diana groaned as she already knew he was going to say that before he had even said it out loud.
"Come on, Severus! You've made it this far with me. You can make a quick trip to Diagon Alley." Diana insisted. She wasn't sure what might convince him to go with her except perhaps maybe to appear helpless. He stood there begrudgingly like a statue.
"Fine. We'll take the Floo. Don't expect to make any additional stops." Snape answered, finally giving in. He pulled Floo powder from a bag in his robes and made his way over to the fireplace.
"You really do keep everything in your robe." Diana pointed out in amazement. He glared at her with hatred before stepping into the fireplace and shouting Diagon Alley as he threw down the powder. The wandkeeper watched the odd duo with confusion as Diana followed after Severus.
The two arrive in the bookshop's upstairs loft. They had made it to Diagon Alley."We should be close enough to Ollivander's if this is the right bookstore," Severus observed carefully. He turned to see Diana admiring a newly released book on display. He frowned as her eyes shimmered with delight.
"We are not here for you to shop, Diana. Come on." Severus said firmly. His voice was menacing yet Diana chose to ignore him as she flipped through the pages in curiosity. Diana knew Ollivander would be there whether she stopped to examine the book or not. He growled in annoyance before placing his hands firmly on her shoulders and steering her towards the door.
"I was going to buy that book!" Diana protested rather loudly, not realizing how many people were down below. Severus ignored the shoppers staring as they were buying a new edition of Gilderoy Lockhart's latest adventures on the main floor as they passed.
"We do not have time!" Severus snapped back at her, swinging open the door.
"Yes, we do! It will only take a moment." Diana pleaded as he dragged her down the street. Diana looked back helplessly at the bookstore knowing that all the books would be gone before she could return to Diagon Alley to purchase one.
"We are obviously going to return to the store and get the book. Just come on!" Severus grumbled, his brow furrowed. Diana remained silent as she finally followed him to Ollivander's. She felt confused but nevertheless happy that her trip to Diagon Alley wasn't strictly business.
