Jesse stops the motorcycle infront of a cute little sandwich shop.
He obviously doesn't know that I come here often.
As we walk in and he goes to make an order.
Drew, who works here, a.k.a my best buddy who I used to have a major crush on but now see as a big brother, smirks at me.
He obviously knew I was pretending to to be amazed by the place as if I never been here.
"And for the little lady?"
He asked while glancing at me, his eyes glowing with amusement.
Should I say "the usual" or think about what I'm going to choose.
I wondered while tapping my index finger on my chin.
"Hmm I'll have the cuban sandwich with some mango juice?"
So I combined my thoughts and picked my usual order and said it in and sort of a question.
"Sounds like the usual order a friend of mine gets here in a daily visit." Drews throws a knowing look my way.
Omfg Drew was playing along bet he could sense my attraction toward this kid.
Gotta be prepared for when he goes to embarrass me.
"So Belinda, so how are you feeling right now?" Jesse randomly asks as we make our way to sit down.
Why is he asking about my feelings?
"What are you trying to get out of me?" I ask back through raised eyebrows.
Jesses leans forward with he hands under his chin and grins widely,
"Just wanted to know how you were dealing with skipping with me for the first time."I rolled my eyes, as I took a bite of my sandwich and raised my thumb up,
"I'm gooood." A bit shaky, thank god I'm not sweating like pig, he would've thought I was running a fever.
Jesse chuckles,
"Oh really then why do you keep looking out the window?"
He questions and steals a sip of my mango juice.
Im trying not to get lost in your eyes and avoid looking like a lost puppy.
"Ha ha, very funny shut your face please."
I reply since I can't think of any good comebacks on an empty stomach.
"You're so adorable when you get annoyed." Jesse cooed.
Next thing I knew, he was grabbing me by my waist, pickng me up and leading me out the door.
"Onto the next adventure!"
He sounded like a little boy who got to buy the toy he was holding onto while chasing his mom around the store until she finally said yes.
Oh gosh what did he have in mind, and why is he still holding me by my waist?
"I'm not gonna run away, you can let go of me now."
I joked as we made our way down the sidewalk.
"You walk like you're taking in your surroundings."
"Is that a bad thing to do?" I confusingly ask.
"Yes because it slows you down and we're in a bit of a rush, gotta get there before its too crowded."
"Get to where exactly?" I ask
Ugh this boy makes me question eveything that its hurting my brain."We going to see race cars and drive in one." He says with a hint of mischief crawling up his face.
Oh no what have I gotten myself into, this sounds like a live fast die young type of life experience waiting to happen.
