My friends came walking in seeing Nick sitting beside my bed.
"Heyy baby girl," Jayy said looking at Nick then at me.
"Imma give y'all some space to talk. I'll call you " Nick said "Okay" I said slightly smiling.
As Nick walked out the room Jayy and Marissa came rushing over my bed
"Bitch , you better give me the tea!"
" Bitches!!, Ain't No Tea." I said laughing.
"We had lunch one time, and he was the one who found me and carry me here." I said.
"So you gave somebody's son some play." Marissa Said.
"Girl bye, y'all too ups in my business." I said laughing.
"Okay." Marissa Said putting up her hands in defense.
"So when you getting out of this place?" Jayy asked.
"The doctor said I could leave tomorrow evening after they run some test."I said.
"Where you gon' stay cause I know you ain't going back to that house." Jayy said.
"Nah, I couldn't. Nick said I could stay with him till I leave for college."
"You Sure that's a okay with you?"Marissa asked
"Yea, I Mean. He kool."
"Okay Boo. We sent all you assignment to you email." Jayy said.
"Thanks you." I appreciate you both.
"Girl we know" Marissa said.
"We bouta get out a hear okay best. Call us when you out
"Okay, bye." After Jayy and Marissa walked out Myhospital room, few minutes later Nick came back walking in.
"I thought you left." I said to him
"Nah boo I'llneverleave you."
"Boyy, Stop Boutamake me blushand shit in this hospital." I said smiling.
I like Nick alot and I know he likes me too. He's been here since the incident, he never left my side. Once he has business to deal with, he always go and come back. He even slept in the hospital chair beside my bed. I'm really thankful that he found me that night, because Iprobably be dead today.
THE NEXT DAY
I'm being discharge from the hospital today. I'm gonna be staying with Nick until I leave for college.
"Ma, you ready?" Nick asked walking in.
"Yea, I just gotta sign some papers."
"Heard you, I'm Gon' take ya bags to the car until you done." He said
"Okay."
A nurse came in after Nick walked out. "Ms Sawyers..... sign these papers then you can leave." She saidwith a smiling face.
After finish signing the papers, Nick came walking in.
"You done boo? "
" Yea I'm Ready." I said.
He walked with me to his car and open the passenger door so I could get in. Then he got in on the drivers side.
As he drive out the parking lot of the hospital. I lean my head on the window glass. "You good Mama?" I smiled and shook my head. "You hungry?" He asked again. "VERY." His phone ring interrupting us indicating that he's getting a call.
"Yo wassup trey?" I heard him say into the phone.
I didn't hear what the other person said on the other side of the phone but Nick reply to the person on yhe phone saying he'd be there in 20 minutes.
He hang up the phone dropping it in his lap looking slightly pissed.
"Ma I gotta make a quick stop, you kool with that?"
"Sure." I said
After exactly 20 minutes of driving we pulled up in a community that I know wasn't a good place. He park on the side walk across from an abundant building . "I'll be right back." He said getting his gun from under his seat tucking it in his waist. I already know what this nigga was into but I wasn't afraid nor I was worried. But what I know is fast money ain't the way but I ain'tthe type to judge.
I watched him as he walked across the street and dapped up too Light skin niggas, guessing one of them was trey. They walked in the abundant building.
In half an hour time I see Nick coming towards the car. I guess he was finish doing what he had came here for.
"Sorry to have you waiting mama." He said driving off.
After all the drivingwefinally pull up at his house.
