Tokoyami: *thoughts* three days from the sports festival, everyone is getting ready, me and Toga agreed to be on the same team as Mina and kirishima for the calvary battle, as for the festival itself, I've been thinking about what to do outside the main event, main thing will be comforting toga, a few days ago I walked in on ururaka and midoriya kissing, they asked me to keep it a secret since there going to be revealing it to everyone after the main event Is finished, but not to sound like a scumbag but it leaves opportunity for me to confess to toga
Toga: hey toko, you ok, you've been quite for a good while now
Tokoyami: yeah I'm fine, just lost in thought
Toga: so what were you thinking about
Tokoyami: none of your business
Toga: come on, tell me, I'm your best friend you can trust me
Tokoyami: I was just thinking of the sports festival and how round one will go for you
Toga: it's a race right, well it's simple, I'll grapple onto deku kun before he jumps off to the end then jump past him at the finish line
Tokoyami: odds of that being successful are low, you know that right
Toga: so what it'll still let me touch deku kun
Toga looks up to see Tokoyami staring at her, she looks for a moment before smiling
Toga: I guess your paying attention
Tokoyami: you think I ignore you?
Toga: of course I do, sometimes at least, you have a habit of staying quiet and staring off into space, sometimes you never make eye contact with me, and sometimes you don't answer my calls
Tokoyami: you calling me at three something in the morning while I'm asleep is not me missing your calls, it's you being an idiot
Toga: whatever bird brain
Tokoyami chuckles as does Toga
-on the day of the festival-
Tokoyami walks around with Toga, looking at the different booths and games, there on there way to the stadium but if they weren't they'd probably go around trying the different foods and playing all the games, but if they tried to do that they'd miss the main event round one
Toga: hmmm, HEY KIRISHIMA, MINA
The two turn around and wave to tokoyami and Toga who run to catch up
Kirishima: hey Toga, tokoyami
Tokoyami: hey, how are you two
Mina: we're on our way to the main event
Toga: same, honestly I can't wait for the fighting rounds, we get to fight with the schools strongest
Dark shadow: I hope we get to fight bakugo
Tokoyami: he beat us in the first round a few years back so we want a rematch
Toga: I'm just hoping I can get close to deku kun
Tokoyami looks away to hide the sorrow in his eyes, they finally arrive at the stadium and split up, Mina and Toga heading to the girls changing room while Tokoyami and kirishima walk twards the men's changing room
Kirishima: so how do you think she'll react
Tokoyami: react to what
Kirishima: no need to play dumb, I've known about midoriya and ochako for awhile
Tokoyami: oh right, that, she'll need comforting but after the festival there will be plenty of time for that, for now let's focus on the festival
