Chapter 1 : The New Girl

"ai'third what are you doing after class let's go to that Korean barbecue na na na na na "khai asked clinging onto third's hand

Third brought his attention from the book in front to his clingy best friend Passing him a bored look

"Ai'khai get off of me first " he said said maintaining his almost cold demeanour

"Nope first agree then only I'll let go" Khai replied having a childish smile on his face

"I can't agree because I'm busy khai go with one of your victims " third replied giving up on his attempt at shaking away the big man baby off of him

But to his surprise khai let go immediately after hearing thirds words

"First of what victims are you talking about I'm not a murder also that would be a whole new level of psychotic .. having dinner with a corpse" khai shivered at the idea and quickly shook the mental image away

"Ekh anyways .. and secondly what are you doing after class we don't have any assignments and I don't remember you talking about chores and the last time I saw you have any human interactions other than me was for a group project .. poor ai'sheldon he practically begged the teacher to never put you and him in the same group ever " khai rambled

"Remind me why I'm friends with you again ?" Third ask trying to sound a bit offended

But unfortunately he's far from it because even he knows whatever khai just rambled on about is well true

"Oh it may be because of my rugged good looks " khai said straightening up and placing a smug look on his face making third burst out laughing

"Yeah right " third scoffed

"Ouch .. okay anyways will you answer the god damn question ? Where are you going ?" Khai asked

"Why are you so nosy all of a sudden.. but if you may know I need to pick up one of our family friend's daughter from the airport "

"Oo and you didn't invite me ? How rude" khai gasped placing a hand over his chest pretending to be offended

"Yes because I don't want aunty scolding me for not protecting her daughter from a player"

"Hey I'm not that big of a ~" khai cut off his own words when he received an "oh please" look from third

"Okay maybe I go on a few too many dates but come on take me with you na na na "

Both of their attention going towards the voice

"Nong Jane" third cheered as he put a bright smile on his face seeing the petit girl

Jane rushed towards third to give him a hug which third accepted very readily

All the while khai stood there a bit awkwardly feeling a shocked at his best friend's behaviour

"Ooi phi why haven't you been visiting huh ? You know mae loves you she sent so many things for you " jane said as soon as the pulled away having a small pout on her face
