Logan walked onto the sight looking slightly distraught. He stood still and looked at the half finished skyscraper for fifteen minutes while people stared at him with the same look, except for three people who were talking to each other about truly sinister things they would do to Logan. Logan had a new task that had involved him having to use a electric screwdriver, he was in a part of the construction ground that people hadn't gone to very often. It was the perfect place for Logan's three personal demons to get to him worse than they ever had in the past.
Logan's friend told the other two to work and come over to him when he went to get them, the man had followed Logan as he was using the screwdriver on an electrical panel to get to the wires inside that had been cut by a squirrel that snuck into the panel somehow. Logan set the scarred creature on the ground and raised an eyebrow as it stayed in the place it had been put in. Logan got back to work as his old friend snuck up behind him with a screwdriver in his hand. "Hey Logan." He said with a grin as he knocked Logan to the ground.
"It's time I gave you an autograph. You're my finest work." The man said as he quickly gave to Logan two marks on either side of his mouth. One of the marks resembled a grin while the other one was of a frown. Logan stood there with a look of disbelief as he felt the cuts. His friend smiled at him as he walked closer to him, "So what are you going to do about it? Are you gonna sit around and go back to work? Are you gonna be a good little doggy and sit when I tell you to?" Logan looked at him after he took his hand off of his face. Logan didn't say a word to the man who tried to punch him in the face.
Logan caught his hand and jammed his electric screwdriver into his demon's eye socket. Logan observed the miracle of how he was still alive with the screwdriver inside of his head. Logan put his hand onto the handle and guided the dying demon onto the ground. Logan watched as he desperately held onto the electric screwdriver before he died and his finger pulled the trigger, blood came from his head as the grossest sounds came from his body. Logan looked back at the squirrel before he picked up the screwdriver with his blood on it. He dipped it into the puddle on the ground before he wrote a message to his other two tormentors who were conveniently walking to the place.
"OH MY GOD!" One of them said as they found the body, one of them threw up at the gory sight. The other tried to comfort him before he was pulled away from him and stabbed with a very familiar screwdriver. The final demon finished puking and wiped the vomit from his face as he tried to look away from the sight. He started to run away but was also pulled into the shadows by something.
Eventually the three demons were found by other workers who had panicked at the sight. It wasn't just the bodies that had scared them, but the message.
What goes around comes around
And the squirrel that had sat on the ground without an expression. Logan wasn't seen at the place again, he was on the other side of town after getting off early. He wrapped some bandages around his scars and looked at himself in his mirror. He had put the bandages over his mouth just like his brother had when he bite him to escape one of the many incidents of pure torture. Logan's mouth was covered completely to where he could barely breath.
Logan had gone to sleep that night with an oddly clean conscience. Meanwhile Samuel had barely gotten any sleep thinking about the three men. Questions like 'how did they get murdered? There were other people there!' Ranged through his head that night which robbed him of his rest but gave him a clear head in the morning when he thought that maybe the guy who had done it had ran away and wouldn't be back for more. He was very wrong.
Logan and Samuel both clocked in at the same time. Samuel had asked Logan about his bandages but he was offered the same old silence. The two men worked until the afternoon when Samuel finally got a view of what would be undoubtedly the scariest experience he would ever go through. He saw Logan holding a body in the shadows as he slowly wrote a word on the man's chest.
Samuel watched for a minute before he realized that the man was still very much alive. It was one of the many tormentors Logan had dealt with over the years. He was currently having a power drill pulled across his skin as his mouth was covered with many layers of cloth that muffled his screams. Samuel grabbed a sledgehammer and approached Logan.
"Let him go, I know it was you who did what you did last night." Logan didn't even look up at him as he put the drill into the ear of the man before he finally turned his head and glanced at the hammer. "Okay. Hold on, you don't have to do this. Let's just calm down, that was a little aggressive of me."
Logan watched him set the hammer down before he stood up with the man, Samuel didn't get a clear view of Logan besides his hand and the almost paranormal glimmer of his eyes from the shadows. Logan turned on the drill and quickly plunged it into the man's head before he tossed the body on the ground and disappeared. Samuel tried to chase him but was stopped by the need to get help.
It would be another night the killer would be out there.
