My boyfriend, vin and I were going to a party for his 18th birthday.
It was 6pm on a Friday night and we were getting ready to go.
I lived with vinnie because my best friend moved out and my family is distant from me, so I had no one but him.
"Babe, are you done yet!" Vin called out for me.
"Almost!"
I was fixing up my shirt and got out of the bedroom.
"Fuck babe." Vinnie was staring me, eyes drawn to my outfit.
"Is it bad or-?"
"Shh, no baby it's perfect." He reassured me.
I smiled as I gave him a peck on the lips.
We left my house to drive over to his, where the party was starting.
*time skip*
We walked into the house and there was no one ther-
"Surprise!" Everyone jumped out of their hiding spots going in to hug vinnie.
"Happy birthday bro!" His friend, Anthony said.
"Thanks everyone I really appreciate it! Now let the party begin!" Vinnie smiled warmly.
Everyone then started to party, there were people doing cannonballs into the pool, people inside drinking alcohol out of red plastic cups, having sex in the bedrooms and all kinds of shit.
Vinnie gave me a few kisses here and there before going elsewhere.
"Babe, I'll be right back."
"Okay."
A couple minutes passed by but I didn't think much of it.
I sat down on the couch as I watched everyone else party.
Dead to me by Kali Uchis was playing.
Everyone was dancing and I moved once again from my spot.
This time I went to the kitchen to get a drink.
I went to the sink and got a glass from the cabinet and poured in a glass of water.
"Hey." I heard a voice from behind me.
I turned around to see a girl, brown hair with highlights, glammed up makeup and a tight red dress.
"Hi, uh do I know you?" I asked, trying to figure out who she was.
"No you don't know me but I have a question for you."
"Go on."

"Do you have a boyfriend and is that boyfriend Vinnie?" She asked.
"Yes and yes." I giggled a bit.
"I don't give a fuck anyway." She muttered under her breath.
"Sorry, what?"
"Nothing." She said as she walked upstairs.
'That was weird' i thought to myself.
I was wandering around the place, waiting for Vinnie.
"Vinnie!" I called out.
There was no answer.
'It's too loud.' I thought to myself.
I heard loud cheering from upstairs, which quickly made me realise that I was the only one downstairs.
I quickly ran upstairs to see-
"Vinnie?!" I saw him hugging the girl that I saw earlier and they were both half naked.
"What the fuck!"
They had sex, clearly.
I was hurt.
I pushed through the crowd of kids to go to Vinnie.
"Vinnie, what is this?!"
*slow motion*
I was pushing him and kicking him and shouting at him.
He was shouting back.
*normal speed*
"Why did you cheat on me?" I asked as I look at him, then at the girl.
Her lipstick was smudged, hair all over the place and her dress strap loose.
He didn't respond.
"Answer me, please!" I pushed him.
"Am i not enough?!" I cried out.
"You're fucking stupid y/n! Look at yourself! I don't want anything to do with you!" My jaw dropped.
"W-what did you say?" I asked, trying to hold my tears in.
The girl beside him tried her hardest not to laugh.
"He doesn't want you, he wants this ass." She laughed.
I closed my eyes to calm down and nodded, I then walked away.
*slow motion*
I then walked away, wanting to talk to someone.
So I called my best friend.
*normal speed*
"Hey, Cleo I-"
"I'm so sorry y/n, I can't talk right now." She then hung up.
I started to frown as I walked out of the house and ran home as the streetlights were turning on.
I felt warm tears dripping down the sides of my cheeks.
I reached my house just before it started to heavily rain.
I had no one.
No one to talk to.
No one to love.
I closed the door and walked to the bathroom, looking at myself in the mirror as choked on my tears.
I went to my bedroom to change and went to lay down.
*imagine yourself with led lights on as the music still playing, then when the music finishes imagine turning off all the lights till it's pitch black as you hear your muffled cries*
